Perm Bans?

Can anyone confirm that permanent bans are taken away after a year of being banned? I've heard a lot of people saying this around several forums.

I was wondering this because my old main will have elapsed one year of being banned tomorrow.

 

well the bans have stopped for now. rollbacks are very common and i have a feeling a mass ban will come soon for the "flagged" accounts that have been rolled back already.

 

Im not sure if there taken away after a year.

However, I had a account that was perm banned for botting in about 2007. Last year I sent them a message saying I was sorry etc. And they unbanned the account.

Try messaging them and telling them how you've learn't your lesson

 

I don't believe this is true. I know people who are still perm banned. But hey who knows, they may have recently done this.

I highly doubt it however.

 

My maxed barrows pure was perm banned on Dec.18th 2009 for major macroing, my only appeal was denied and it is still permbanned.

 

Bans are still in use, and looking at all the other comments I wont get my hopes up.

 

Permanent bans are permanent.
I've got an account banned in feb 2010, still banned
one in sept 2009 still banned
one in aug 2009 still banned.

also the still do give out perma bans... i've got an acc from dec 2010 that got perma banned.

 

my main was banned in early 09 and my friends in early 04...both still perm banned.

and how do you contact jagex about banned accounts? ive used both my appeals

 

I think jagex do give you another appeal but thats it i have 4 accounts perm banned in 07 which are still banned lol
