Use the Wiki before you post!

Many times the posts in this section could easily be solved with a simple wiki search. If you're unfamiliar with the wiki, give it a look. It's the most comprehensive RuneScape tool available. The questing parts are okay, but I prefer RuneHQ for that part. If you can't solve your issue, then you should post it.

Agreed, so many threads could be removed if people would actually search around before asking, It would be good if this could be stickied.

 

But it does make people feel useful when they help someone out with simple things

 

I don't know how many times I've posted in people's thread redirecting them to the wiki. Site is fantastic

 

Some people find it easier to ask people who might have dealt with it first hand the wiki is not always accurate but still is a good base option instead of spamming.

 

Support for sure, people need to realise that a simple rs wiki search gives them so much information. alot quicker and alot more better time consumption then trying to get an answer on the forums.

 

The wiki provides general knowledge, It doesn't provide such things as efficient training methods but a lot of threads could be removed if they searched RSW.

The Wiki is good for simple and quick advice. I always use it before making a thread.

If I ever need to find out something I use rswiki, it certainly does better than waiting for a reply here.

Great site, great info. I used to be a big fan of Runehq but I have been converted recently.

Use. Contribute. Repeat.

 

It is good for yes/no questions and facts and stuff. However, you can't look up if you should stay 50 attack on the wiki, you can't look up if its worth it buying 50M for paypal, etc.
Other than that though it is a good site to use.
