    Runescape Economy Declining Abrutdly.

Before the recent trade limitation removal and bringing the old wilderness back the Runescape Economy has been declining. The whole Fishing industry has been hit major by the excess of bots. The prices of herbs and potions are dropping dramatically. Phats have risen over 30% + of their price before free trade. GP prices before the trade limitation update in 07' were 3-4$/mill now they are currently averaging at .65-.9/mill and dropping. The price of GP is becoming that of a private server.

There's more supply than demand. We need to fix it, and we can.

Examples of the recent decline in the Economy

    - Sharks now 500 gp or less
    - Lobsters under 100 gp
    - Dark bows decreasing 50% in price
    - BGS - 10M or less
    - Rares are skyrocketing because of the excess GP most of us have.

If we can't fix it Runescape will die, unless JaGex does something to abolish botting for the most part, forever.

I honestly hope they don't cut back on botting. I feel that they should be more vigilant on people who use bots that are obvious such as Powerbot. But for people who use RID or other premium bots; we should get to continue lol =).

People using premium bots, such as Rsbots are the ones ruining the economy. Free bots aren't very efficient at long-time sessions.

Example: A free sorcgarden bot.. Runs for 3 hours? You can't really find these for free.
AutoSorcGarden .. Runs 24/7 and people use VPS' to run 20+ bots.

^ Ruins the economy, not to mention the ROW glitch that just happened. Good fight Divine, spectral, and ely.

Fagex seriously need to do something about the all the botting that is going on as you have mentioned. It seems that they are laying back as if they don't care and more focusing on updates as of lately.

Nope, no rollback. Jagex said it was their fault so they won't penalize players for it. As for the economy, true in 1-2 years phats will be 10b+ each, and everyday commodities like herbs, pots, fish, runes etc will be all under 100gps.

Sythe is also fueled by the runescape black market. If runescape dies, sythe dies.

There is little we can do to fix it. Even more professional people can't stop the kids who want to use free bots to their hearts content.

If anything can stop it, runescape has to find accounts trading billions and ban them. Of course, that would also mean lots of GP sellers here on sythe would lose hundreds of dollars.

I can bot let's say 5m a day on a sorcerer garden but some guy comes along with the wgs glitch and creates a billion a day. Or people abuse GE dupe and create billions, also sigil drops 100% glitch...more billions....don't blame the botter and my little 5m a day sorcerer garden bot.

That wasn't due to botting. That was because at that time there were few contributors of cash in to the game outside of monster drops. That all changed when RS2 was launched with bank notes which introduced mass-alching.

    Blme it on the glitchers.
I personally HATED when mills were 3-5$. That's just absurd, I mean afterall we are paying for pixels so cheaper=better IMO. (For the people who RWT that is)

When mills were $5 a pop 50M could buy you a Blue, White and Green Party Hat or even the best gear available in the game with plenty left to spend. That's $250 in a time period of the game where your wealth actually carried a certain value. Compare that to today where a Blue Party hat will set you back a good $1,800+, a shield can set you back $700 - do I need to go on?
