Edit: I've just read what the guy before me said and although he is being very abrupt. I'd acctually say it would probably be beneficial to you if you ignored her for the time being, or just try to avoid her rather than ignore. If shes upset she will realise she needs you, if she isn't then you have made the right choice and she thinks you have moved on, which you should do after some time.

Don't take that as spam as If someone raped my girlfriend or even any of my friends and i knew who it was, he wouldn't be touching another female in his life.

But seriously man, If you don't want to even talk to him, I'd be going to the police with as much as I could.

Rape isn't like stealing a chocolate bar.. It can seriously mess the victims up..

 

We all want to do this to rapists etc, but if he touches him then he can get arrested and the rapist walks. If the rapist goes to jail then it's up to the more violent prisoners to take care of him.

I totally understand you. But never take this path, it will in turn ruin your life too. Life is unfair.

 

Although it will not help the victim, her pressing charges will prevent anything continuing so others do not have to experience the same. As for people saying hit the guy, don't, not because its against the law, or the world is cruel, like others have stated. But the guy is a physco, he rapes. I don't think he would hesitate on taking a more dangerous approach towards you if you interfere.

In all honesty, there isn't a whole lot you can do anymore. By denying a rape kit, most of the evidence is gone. Any accusation's are hearsay, and chances are it would be thrown out of court. If she is treating you poorly, and making you feel down when you try to help her, the easiest thing to do is to walk away. She needs to realize that she needs you just as much as you need her. Try getting her to go to therapy, and to realize that what happened isn't because she brought it on, or deserved it. My Ex-Girlfriend was raped and I dealt with this for over a year.

I'm sorry to say, but it actually is normal. Very normal, in fact. My friend's girlfriend is in California on a long trip with an aunt. They're still together, but her first week there she had way too much to drink and ended up cheating on him. She called it rape, but her story is so full of holes that it's blatantly obvious that she just doesn't want to cope with the fact that she cheated on him.

Now, I'm not saying your girlfriend cheated on you or that she's lying about rape, but I do know that it's not uncommon for a girl to use rape as a means to take the blame off their shoulders for cheating, and be aware that there's a good chance that she made a stupid regrettable decision and wasn't actually raped.

If you truthfully believe her, there's really not much you can do. You can't force her to subject herself to tests, but be aware that what you said isn't normal is actually extremely normal for girls in that situation.

 

Hmm, I really don't know what I would do. I would be so angry just like you. But I mean if you feel the need, beat the guy senseless, but it still wont remove the fact of what happened to her. Just be there for her man, but me being the dumb ass that I am I would beat the guy senseless.

 

It's not too late, they have ways of identifying still.

 

this is a delicate situation, i wouldnt recommend trying to convince her or force her to do anything if shes not comfortable with it (pressing charges) but professional help for her would probably do justice. at some point in her life this will come back to haunt her, the demon wont go away until she gets her feelings and thoughts out about what happened. btw be careful, it may affect ur sex life w. her. if u guys roleplay DONT encourage a rape scene obviously. as far as ur anger goes, i cant blame u. if someone did that to my fiance id be in prison for murder, but that doesnt make it right...try to rise above the anger and move past it. no matter how mad u get or no matter what u do to him it wont change what happened, so dont get urself in trouble over him, karmas a bitch and he will get his 10x over
