Which Runescape do you like more? Strict? Or lenient?

Basically the question is in the title, but here are a few things to think about.

The reason we bot is to get money/stats in a fraction of the IRL time that other players (who play legit) can. We bot to gain an advantage, we rule break to gain an advantage.

Before JaGex adopted this new Money>Everything polocy, botting/rwting was a risk. It was, however, a risk that we all took because many of us didn't like playing this game legit.

However, with the new polocies JaGex has adopted, I'd argue that to truly "compete" with other players in Runescape, you need to bot/rwt. How can you justify spending 100 hours playing a game to get 100m (1m/hr is pretty good rates) when you can leave a bot on for a week and make the same amount. How can you justify spending 250 hours getting 99 hunter when a bot can do it in 10 days?

TBH, the more that I think about it, I like the Runescape that involved a risk. I feel like the path that Runescape is going down is just leading to a game that only botters/rwters play. A game full of people botting to beat out legit players that no longer exist. A game where RSGP is worth 10c/m because no one can sell their easily botted gold. Personally, I do not like this idea.

I did say that. What I am saying is that, if the current trends continue, Runescape will almost be barren of legit players by the end of this year.

There are literally hundreds of people who run 4+ Sorc garden bots, which probably brings in a total of over 500M worth of herbs per hour. No one will play legit when RSGP hits under 50c/m.

 

You would be surprised the massive amount of people that:

A. Don't even know what a bot is
B. Would never believe that there are "a ton" of RWT'ers
C. Just don't think about any of the black hat stuff

The main things people talk about when they talk about botting is either people botting combat, or people botting wc/fishing/mining.

People don't think outside that box until they see it for themselves/experience it. Even when they do see or experience it, they don't realise the massive scale it is all done on.

I'm not really into the game entertainment wise anymore, so I do like being able to make real $ out of it. So I can't say I mind the way it is right now, but I know if it keeps up the way it is it's not going to be worth it. I won't waste RAM for 50 cents a mil, or even 60.

It's just like what's the point in playing legit anymore, training for 200 hours isn't fun, nor is it an accomplishment, it's just fucking boring.

 

Lenient only for me botting but strict for everyone else so I can be the only cool high lvl guy
and less botters all over the place

 

Lol, I was just thinking about this. TBH it is pretty unbelievable to think about your "runescape worldview" before you were introduced into the cheating community.

 

So many legit people who are idiots and think that botters can't/don't talk, when they actually can.
I bet half of them wouldn't believe them if you told them that their are people who are botting right infront of them when they're doing an unusual skill like Runecrafting.

Personally I used to be 90% legit up until a month ago.

You need to cheat to compete with the top dogs now.

Basically I'd like to get to a point where, after I get 80 att and dung as well as some other skills (ovls, turm, ect) I'll probably be mostly legit.

 

EVERYONE is a bot now, there's no one to talk to.

Train WC = Bots
Train Combat = Bots
Train Mining = Bots
Minigames = Bots
Almost everything = Bots

Jagex are probably going to let everything go and move onto Stellar Dawn or Transformers.. or whatever.

 

Naw, people who babysit their bot and talk.
When I was a legit player I didn't know if people who botted could talk or not but as I started downloading premium bots I realized how much of a dumbass I was.

Also my irl friends always used to bot, I have no clue why I didn't join them a long assss time ago. I guess I could care less if I get banned now due to Jagex not giving much of a fuck as they used to.

It's like I've gotten used to those XP rates.

 

so many people at sw botting alch talk and complain about bots lol. Everyone knows they are botting too no one trains boring skills buy hand anymore

 

You know the alching spot right next to the blue teams waiting room?
So many botters are there alching, I don't even feel safe alching there anymore because some of them try to talk to you to see if you're a bot or not .

I've seen several of the same people alching at soul wars though in the spot next to the blue teams waiting room for a long ass time lol

I tried bursting rock lobsters for mage, but I got so freaken bored I only got 100k exp and left. When I used to be legit I used that to get 99. Seems so slow now when you're used to botting :/

 

Frankly, JaGeX probably could have wiped out all of the bots in the game awhile ago, but they never have since they know their game is boring as fuck to play that only a fraction of the players like playing legitimately.

 

its sad that on a cheating site we are saying jagex needs to get strict.. but its true. jagex needs to crack down. its really bad

 

id have to agree, and add on that you just have no idea how many younger players there are, most of which wouldnt know how to use a bot correctly (or be allowed to because of parents, etc.)

 

Yeah once you bot it's hard to go back to playing legit. Botting is just too convenient to stop, and the game is too boring to train things legitimately.
