Book Recommendations

I'm mostly into fantasy books (Harry Potter, Forgotten Realms, etc.) and some sci-fi.

Trying to find a new book to read and just thought I'd see what you guys recommend.

 

I was really into that genre/books a while ago, too.

I've begun reading Dan Brown's books, and even though it is a different genre, I've grown in love with them

Not sure if it's just me, but I think it branches from my love of knowledge (aka looking smart)

The Rift = amazing.

 

Yeah, the eragon series are just amazing. I recently read some books by John Locke. It's a 5-6 book series and growing, but I loved it. They can be found on amazon kindle for 99 cents. One of the titles is Wish List.

 

I second all these books / series. The Inheritance cycle is awesome.

God, I haven't read Artemus Fowl in years. Think I'll have to download the audio books.

 

I liked the Harry Potter series. If you want something on a more serious level, try 1984 - George Orwell. You can never go wrong with classics. Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger. Or if you want something newer, City of Thieves - David Benioff, one of my personal favorites, it is fantastic.

 

I reckon the The tomorrow When the war Began series was awesome. With the Eli Chronicles after . Or Shawshank redemption.

 

Thanks! I'll have to try some of those out, already read Eragon series though.

 

Read Sacred Hoops, by Phil Jackson. Its a really good sports book.

 

I tried reading Harry Potter like 3 times and every time I tried, I was knocked out after the first page...
