As a member of both communities I feel I need to let potential victims of these fraudsters know about their ill-doing. I do not wish anyone else to fall victim to them, so consider this a warning.


I have been scammed by an ADMINISTRATOR of powerbot, the following is the PM I sent to all officials on that forum. I also posted it on their DISPUTE section. At the bottom of the page are some images which now shows the current status of my account (perm banned) - theyre trying to cover his ass by banning me and removing all my posts which have proved him to be a scammer/hacker. Enjoy.

Now - they decided that instead of dealing with this in a mature manner (id have gladly accepted a refund for my money) - they'd do this:





So to all those who use powerbot, even the admins are untruthful.

DONT USE THAT WEBSITE IF YOU WISH TO KEEP YOUR MONEY.

Powerbot has the worst and most corrupt community ever.

RSBot/PowerBot is well known for its extremely corrupt staff, having gone so far in the past as to give an administration position to Sigex. I'd stay far away from the PowerBot community.

Yea, I agree powerbot is corrupt, which is why I stay on Sythe. Much better community.

Powerbot has, hands down, the WORST community I have EVER seen.

 

I use the bots, but I'll never do business on their site. Reason proved just now.

 

The bot isn't safe either. Its Plaintexted? anyways it records all passwords that are saved in it.

 

I don't save my passwords in it. I log in manually every time.

 

I don't even trust their bots. Sucks mate, sorry.

 

i have completely steered clear of that bot/site since the hackings went down ... why would people still use it knowing there is like a 80% chance of their accs being stolen.

 

Their staff have been corrupt for a long time now. I remember a staff member OMM'd a trade for me and then a few days later tried to get me to buy his powerbot account because he wasn't interested and just wanted some money. I have heard lots of stories like this and because of it I don't trust any one over there.

 

The PowerBot staff was pretty good like 1,5 year ago. I was part of the staff there and the old admins were great. Though they did give some admin-friends an admin rank.... People with 1 or 2 posts were admin and had no idea how a forum even works!

They banned me for "spamming" - Lol, sure thing - and they were actually going down and down.. Sad to hear they're fallen so deep now.

 

Isn't powerbot the company that got hacked and over 9000 accounts got cleaned? someone put virus in the codes or something I heard.

However, even though their community is EXTREMELY corrupt in terms of trading, their user created scripts are very good. I've never been banned using them.
