Profitable skills?

I was wondering what the most profitable f2p skills are.

Smithing seems to make you lose money, trees seem to be low profit and mining is horrible until say 90+

PKing will never die. PKing feeds on:

Food
Armour/Weapons
and Runes.

Fishing, or Runecrafting will give you the most bang for your buck.

For f2p, the only way you can actually really make a profit skilling is if you bot. If you do bot, I would recommend mining. It may take a long time, but if you mine and bank iron from 15-80 you will rake up profits of 12,071,988 (As of March 13th). After that, become a member and do LRC.
If you really want to make money, you have to become a member.

 

best f2p farming i can find is coal in the lumy swamp i get from 70-80k a hour there while is bad considering about a month before free trade it was possible for almost 100k on iron

 

Trees or mining essence really are the best methods in f2p. They both offer around 50k per hour, and that adds up once you start running multiple bots at once.

Another option is tele - grabbing wine, which can result in profits up to 350k per hour.

if your doing it legit do this I have seen clips of it and hes right you can get like 350k an hour ftp which is amazing

 

More during the weeks before the xp weekend tbh.

A lot of f2p can collect herblore secondaries and make decent money from it. These profits naturally go up during the xp weekends as demand increases.

 

Rune essence is easy money.

 

Pking is such a beautiful skill.

 

I see people selling and gaining like 100 mill per week.

I disagree. Fish prices are in dump. I botted a fisher to lvl 93. Now its just standing. I have no use for it cause it wont make me any decent income. If you want i can sell it to you...


I'd recommend mining. And i'd also recommend you to use auto miner bot.

 

I agree, but nonetheless Runecrafting is a good skill which feeds the demand for the essence. I also think that thieving is quite good, because when at 65 or above and thinking it's not too profitable you can switch to Sorceress Garden for a bit of money/farming experience.

I've a;ways done minign if I needed money in f2p.

Or I set up my autofighter to kill chickens and pick up feathers. Or kill al kharid warriors and collect bones.

 

Since I am thinking about going members, I stopped playing RS for years ago and way before a large amount of skills and items were members only. Hunter was not even a skill. What exactly is hunter and what drops actually make the money? Also I heard it has a high bot ban rate, is this true?

 

I am going to assuming that farming herbs is still highly profitable, avantoes and ranarrs should still yield quit good crops from initial investment
