Relaunch of User Education

User Educator fits good, moreover, you would need to edit the titles, guides, stickies and more, when this name is good enough, I suggest not to touch it.

If needed, edit the forum name, add additional information, but do not touch the ranks, they are good enough.

 

I think the name and rank should stay.

 

I'm going to make 2 guides, as my current one is terrible, to a good quality, and apply for UE.

I believe the UE's failure is caused by the unintelligences of sythe's members and the disinterest of sythe's more insightful members.

Furthermore, better information can be obtained on other websites by professionals rather then teenagers.

I don't think the management of the UE is responsible it the UE's failure.

Maybe I'm wrong though. Hope it works out.

Hey Finn.

I think the UE should get colored names with their rank. You don't have to allow user images, but just a color. I was thinking about brown or something.

Usually, when you want to give importance to a user group, you give them colored ranks, take all the staff as an example. I think the UE that spend their time helping others should be looked at with importance and elevated on the site. I don't see what harm could come out of a colored rank?

 

Finally one of my suggestions actually gets noticed I guess 2 guides is better then 5 it allows the users to put more time into each of their guides

What about, "Forum Aide"? Taking a more humble approach to it I guess.

 

The only problem is that the OMM rank, which is much harder to garner compared to UE doesnt even get a colour, so we'd have to think about OMM first before we thought about giving UE a coloured name.

TL;DR, probably wont happen, its reserved for staff.

 

2 guides is not worth a colored name.

From what I understand, Finn wants to de-emphasize the rank / user group so giving them a colored name wouldn't help.

Giving them a colored name would also probably deceive newer users into thinking they're more "trusted".
