Does RWT and Botting Actually Help Runescape?

No. If the scale gets to large it will destroy the game. like classic has 90% bots now.

 

Bots ARE the runescape Economy.

with that being said, without bots, you will see all the necessities become more and more expensive. if you make no money, its hard to get 99's. 99's is what keeps this game interresting. Not being able to enjoy the game = less players that pay for P2P. less players who buy Membs= less money for jagex.

Anyways, my only fear is that soon there will be to many bots..

For example..

Let's say that 70% of people who are fishing right now are suicide bots, but they bank. (Suicide botting is 24/7 non stop till banned). And right before they're banned they trade all of the fish onto a real account, and then they sell them for average price..Wouldn't this completely destroy runescape's economy?

 

Without bots, stuff like essence would be out of stock, right? It's pointless to mine it legit.

 

I reckon they do help.

 

bots make the game to easy and when it's to easy its boring as hell everyone can get the best stats.
