You shouldn't be banned for not wanting to use a free middle man. There isn't really any thing you can do about it. Just try to convince them your trusted or go with their demands of an OMM.

 

This pretty much sums it up, though many scammers use OMMs as deterrents of them actually selling an upgrade/account legitimately due to the fees. If they won't use a trusted Free MM then it's probably not a legitimate deal.

I feel like upgrades have the most scammers of any section. If they don't want a very trusted MM, they are probably scammers. I would watch your back very carefully when dealing with upgrades. I gave up and I just use my own credit card and pay Jagex.

i only us an OMM so i dont support. now have i ever demanded and OMM for a pin trade no. for 1 of 2 reasons. 1 i dont use people that arnt already trusted. or 2 i am way more trusted then most of them are anyways and if they dont wanna go first ill just leave.

 

Honestly, if someone is being honest and is serious about the trade, you'll always work it out. The only time when it's a pan in the ass is when you are dealing with a scammer.

 

if someone demands an OMM with your fees, then that is that. Whether or not you trade with him/her or not is your decision.

Using an OMM is a sure way to get your product, but at the same time, some OMM's charge large %'s that would turn away potential buyers.

It's better to spend 20-40$ than lose 400$ in a trade IMO

 

If they're paying fees for the OMM, it shouldn't be a problem?

 

Kake what im saying is they don't pay the fee and they demand it for like a 1m trade omm fee is 5m

 

If they're demanding a OMM that cost 5m for a 1m trade, dont trade with them. Simply as that. ( Given if they arent paying fee's )

 

You don't have to use anything if you don't want to.



edit: We've had all types of trusted scam on this site. Nobody should be forced into using anyone that they don't want to do business with.

OMM/MM/YouFirst/MeFirst are options.
None have to be applied.
It's up the buyer and the seller, if one doesn't want. Then they don't want.

 

some omm's actually will do pin trades free if you ask nicely so no I'm 100% against this
