Ip Man 2

So has anyone watched the new Ip Man 2? I watched it, it was great. Sammo Hung is in the movie too. Here's the trailer for the movie.

Haha, I think Sammo Hung is the man. Look at his size, he can do a lot of stuff. I would pick Sammo Hung over Jackie Chan and Jet Li anyday. But that's just me.

<3 Jet Li.He can kick Sammo's ass anyday ^^.On top of that Jet Li has a lot better movies.I can name some:Warlords,the one,war,fearless,danny the dog and a lot more .. i'm a huge fan of Jet Li so don't say anything bad about him or i'll kick ur ass

 

I don't think Jet Li can take down Sammo Hung. Sammo Hung has been in a lot of movies and made a lot of movies. I believe Sammo Hung has been in a lot more films than Jet Li. Look at Sammo Hung's size and look at how fast he is. Sammo Hung has been in SPL (Saat Po Long), Fatal Move, Enter the Dragon (Sammo Hung versus Bruce Lee), Knockabout, Ip Man 2, and et cetera. Sammo Hung went to the Peking Opera School man, that's hardcore over there, that's where Jackie Chan (Sing Lung) went as well. Jet Li trained with Master Wu Bin from the Bejing Wushu Team. Besides, Sammo Hung knows Cantonese and Mandarin, while Jet Li only knows Mandarin, but both of them know English pretty well, but speak with an accent. I still choose Sammo Hung over Jet Li, that's just my opinion. But Jet Li has the cleanest ButterFly Twist I've ever seen.

Just saw the movie,i must say overall it's pretty good if your into combat.What i didn't like were the british actors,they fail in acting and the boxing vs martial arts was kinda clique,watch Fearless and see what i'm talking about.I don't know who,what and where went to study martial arts but i can say Sammo moves good considering his weight,and yes Sammo defiantly has more movies then Jet Li but most of them are not that great.

 

Yeah, I wished they dubbed over the British to speak perfect Cantonese instead of having the tones wrong, unless you saw the Mandarin version. It really depends, I liked most of Sammo Hung's movies, but if you watched a dubbed version or subtitles and don't understand Cantonese, then I don't think you would enjoy it as much. I only liked Jet Li's Once a Upon a Time in China movies, because I thought Wong Fei Hung was soo much of a badass in Hong Kong when he was around. I was also hoping for the great Wu Jing to be in Ip Man 2, but I can only hope, since he pulls off a lot of Wushu moves in most of the movies he's in.
