The last air bender.

Has anyone watched this..?
I am watching it now and I think it is fairly decent.

I used to watch the cartoons when they were on, (yes I was 18 and a cartoon) the films misses out like 80% of the stuff that happened in the cartoon which is a bit disappointing, but overall it's good

 

Psssh. The movie was absolutely sick cant wait for the next one.

I just watched the ending bit then...
I was like WTF finishes half way through..?
Suppose it will be ok when the 2nd 1 comes out, or IF it comes out.

 

I'm still waiting to watch it as soon as possible. I haven't watched it yet, but I wanted to. I didn't want to spoil it by watching a bootlegged version, since it doesn't offer the 3d obviously, but when I see it, I'll try to remember to edit/post in this thread.

 

i love the last air bender i hope the 2nd movie comes out soon. the first was incredible.

 

Absolutely horrible. They had everything wrong in the movie and yes what Shoopa said 80% of what actually happens doesn't happen in the movie. And they have nearly every name wrong which really bother's me. And it was just shit. The cartoons are the bomb.

 

Seeing it in a week or so, not so high expectations as it seems pretty much everyone hates it. I'll just watch it as a mindless entertainment movie, nothing else.

 

I'm 19 and I watch cartoon like it's my religion. In my free time you can find me watching few episodes. I was dying to to see the movie but after reading all the reviews and listening to friends, i saved myself $10, 2 hours, and good old cartoon memories :wub:

 

The Cartoon series had such an immersible environment, full of culture and color and adventure- the film on the other hand completely butchered the universe the series established to begin with.

Acting was terrible, there was a lack of substance- and above all it was completely void of the wisdom and beauty the show bestowed on its viewers.

I'm not one to hate on M. Night Shymalan, but its a real shame he couldn't do this series justice.

 

The movie wasnt as good as i expected but I too watched the cartoon and believe it will get better, and yes it had to miss alot of it out if it was going to make a movie from a whole first series :L

 

Some people at my school watch it. I've seen it a few times, and I think it is decent. Nothing I would watch on my own, however.

 

Everyone that I know that has watched the movie has told me it was a disappointment.

 

Apparently its worse than the DBZ one (and that was bad...), used to watch this cartoon but gotten out of it abit.. might download it and see how it is for my self.
