All I know is, avoid the Bold 9700 at all costs. They crash so much and are super laggy. Constantly show alerts that are non existant and take about 5 minutes to turn on (not an exaggeration) if you take the battery out and put it back in.

Not sure about the other ones, though.

 

I've got the Curve 3G, it's great.

 

I've got the Curve 8520. It's a fantastic phone, I can send my emails, browse the internet, go on MSN, use BBM, play games etc. It's probably the best Blackberry for socialising. However, I'd go with the Curve 3G over the Curve 8520 because the internet it a bit slow without 3G.

 

i got the torch and love it! i thought it was a waste of money spending w.e i spent buying the phone but it was totally worth it and i love it

My dad has a bold. He seems to like it. I would get a smartphone over a blackberry tbh.

depends on the features that you like because the torch is good and so is the bold.
