Okay.. I got scammed for 900$ [updated]

wow this sickens me. i hate how other people feel no remorse for doing this. its a shameful act. Call authority's get your 900$. And then when you have the 900$, send him an email saying: Karma's a Bitch.

actually you can report that information you posted to the authorities and take legal action. we're currently learning about internet transaction law in my business law course and there may be ways to take legal action against her.

Just got rid of my negative paypal balance, nearly got paid with a hacked paypal account again:/
the guy had a belgian email adress and a brittish paypal account..
googled his email and he turned out to be a vader

Things aren't working out with you and PayPal... just quit PayPal once and for all and move on. It will greatly benefit you, $900 charge back and now $98? wow, how do you manage?

 

Why didn't the 900$ scam learn you to not take ANY direct paypal payments from people who are not extremely trusted?

People even charge back 5$ on me if i risk a direct paypal gift from a newcomer =/

Switch to PA, in the end you'll have more money, even with their fees.

This is why you don't trade with semi-trusted or untrusted people. I only deal with Plznate, Viou, h1j2q3, and Classic Pker (dispite his ban which he didn't appeal). I've went first giving $6,000 worth of RS items in ONE TRANSACTION and waiting a few days for payment - went smoothly. Not to mention the other times I've went first to them, never had any problems at all.

Moral of the story - you're better off selling cheaper (slightly)/buying higher with them than being overzealous and risking to sell higher to another person.

Stop using JUST Paypal. The risk of unauthorized claims is just too much. Switch to Player Auctions (100% secure but fees are a bit hefty) or Western Union, Moneybookers, etc. I recently lost 283 dollars to an unauthorized claim, and I just shook it off and moved on to Player Auctions. Nothing bad has happened since. Good luck man - sorry to hear about that.
