Get some advice and help from the hospital, maybe taking little nicotine injection.

Or reducing the amount you smoke, and testing if you can cope with this, if you can't then you'll need extra help. Good luck on quitting smoking, I hate it and can't see how it's still legal.

Hey man wish you the best with quitting, I've stopped long ago, you are surely capable, it is a mental control.

    Quitting smoking, advice?

I think smoking is a really bad habit that only you can deal with, it's 100% will power so i'm going to suggest a few possible methods that are available to you.
    1) If statistics are not sinking in, pictures will. Look at the effects of smoking and thinking to yourself, do you want this to be you in 5,10 or 15 years time? my auntie is a really bad smoker and she is in self denial that she has a habbit.
    2) Set your aims high, book a holiday where you have always wanted to go, think to yourself, do i want to feed this addiction? or enjoy my life? setting goals and targets can really help fight an addiction. Through things such as patches you are still only delaying the effects. You don't want to be reliable on a source that is ruining your life.

(Please bare in mind I have never smoked in my life;17 years old so I don't truely understand how it feels).

But try to remember, it's up to you. It's a lose lose situation with smoking, try to appreciate your good health and don't take it for granted. :) Goodluck man.

Think about something that disgusts you. Associate it with smoking. Profit.

My step-father died from Squamous Cell Carcinoma which is a type of Lung Disease because of smoking.

He left behind a fatherless family.

    Let this be your motivation.
