FAQ: Sorceress Garden Botting

You've come to this thread seeking questions about Sorceress Garden, and you're at the right place. Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions about Sorceress Garden botting, or botting in general.

First of all if you are botting Sorceress Garden you must decide two things, to do it at home or through a VPS (Virtual Private Server).

Now there are multiple VPS providers as you can tell from this forum. Even with that sticky at the top of the page people are still creating threads asking about VPS.
The following two VPS are the most popular on this forum: PhotonVPS and Seerhost.

My personal recommendation is PhotonVPS for the following reasons:

1. Amazing Customer Service
Each time i've opened a ticket, I have received a response time within fifteen minutes. I spoke to Customer Service before I purchased my VPS and they are located at a datacenter in Los Angeles, CA which is near where i live. They provide stability and reliability in cases of power outages, but rarely ever encounter these problems due to the amount of clients that they cater to.
2. Multiple guides for setting up a VPS
When you're following a guide it's best to do what they're doing or you're going to get lost!
3. Performance. Xen Platform
PhotonVPS uses the Xen platform while Seerhost uses OpenVZ. For those that do not know, Xen is far more stable and reliable than OpenVZ. You get what you pay for because I personally think it's worth the investment. I read a post earlier saying that someone on Seerhost's Silver Plan powered by OpenVZ had to restart his server everday. Xen Users rarely ever encounter this problem and are able to bot efficiently. It will also save you a headache later. Trust me.!

Now after you've gotten your VPS all set up, the next issue is setting up your bot.

To setup your bot and utilize it to it's fullest capacity these are the things you're going to need.

First, you need to buy an auth code, I chose rsbots.net because i've heard only good things about them.

After you've had your auth-code, click on the AutoSorcGarden Pro and run it. Once it's run it will start to load and then you need to click "Add Bot"

Next you will need to pick signed or unsigned, and I recommend signed as it will allow your bot to run faster. You will also need to choose a low-population low-ping server as high-ping servers may cause your bots to run slower.

Once this is all done you can then enter your login information of your bots and the hit continue. The bot will then begin to load Runescape. If RuneScape is taking a long time to load, spam the "S" key. For the first time loading RuneScape, stop the bot there are adjustments that need to be made

-Adjust ALL Global Settings to the RIGHT. This can found BELOW "Settings" for your bot.
-Lower the graphics to the MINIMAL settings and change the settings as you would normally as if you were playing RuneScape. Don't worry as long as the client does not crash you will not need to adjust this the next time. These will be your default settings.

These settings will allow you to be set, just login and you will be good to go

Now here are some FAQ that this forum is bombarded with. With people reading this, I am sure it will save some headaches.

Auth-Key:
You only need one per VPS. Warp 4 can run 8 Sorc Garden bots. That means you only need 1 auth code per 8 bots. The botting companies make you buy more so they can make more money. However, feel free to not be stingy and pay these botting companies as it does take a lot of time and effort to program these scripts as well as keeping up to date on them.

Signed or Unsigned:
Signed, I put my bots on different worlds. You only need 8 different servers, because each VPS has their unique IP address.

Low-Ping:
The VPS are located in California, this would mean that in order to get low ping you need to connect to servers that would be low ping for the WEST COAST not your area. For some reason the VPS will not display pings so I use an account that does not bot to check low pings since I am from California as well.

VPS:
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU RUN YOUR VPS ON XEN PLATFORM
If you plan on botting through a VPS you're probably looking for stability and reliablity, so trust me and don't sell yourself short. Find a Xen platform, I highly recommend PhotonVPS but if money is an issue do some research and look for providers.This bot works is a mini-game so think about it. VPS that lag will not make as much gold as those that do not. I see a lot of posts of people's VPS failing, etc but, I have not encountered a single problem. All my bots are making 250k/hour on average which adds up when you have more than one VPS running. That means that on each VPS I am making 48 million RSGP and that easily pays for the cost of membership and VPS within 2-3 days of botting. This leads to me wondering why people complain about cost. You cannot profit without making an investment. Simple as that, if you are not willing to spend money at the beginning then you will encounter problems that could have been avoided.

Breaks:
NO BREAKS. Breaks = RED FLAG which could get you banned.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Prince Ali Rescue Quest done.
-65 Thieving


Thieving:
YES, this bot will allow you to get 1-65 thieving. It takes about 24 hours. You will need Pestle and Mortar which can be purchased at the Grand Exchange. I recommend getting this while you do your Prince quest so that you do not need to run there later.

Do I need agility?
NO, agility is not needed and Auto Sorc Garden Pro will automatically rest for you. I personally do not recommend leveling up agility as it is not needed, but could help. However if you are suicide botting do not even bother with agility. You are better of spending your time trying to get as many bots as possible than to level agility.

How much RAM do I need in my computer to run this bot?
Each Sorc Garden bot takes roughly 0.5 GB RAM to run this bot. The more the merrier, hence why WARP 4 can run 8 Sorc Garden bots.

Is it worth it?
YOU let ME know. Each VPS can make 48 million a DAY that is 1440M RSGP a MONTH per VPS. If your running more than that it can be extremely efficient.

Why do my bots have low success rates?
Are all your settings set to the recommended settings? If not, set them to the correct settings. If that still doesn't work reboot, and if that still doesn't work you might be overloading your computer or VPS so try turning off a bot or two and see if the success rate goes up.

Also, SeerHost has the same amount of guides and the same if not better quality than kerokerocola's.

Pretty expensive to run 8 bots on 1 VPS which is the only possible way to make 48m in 24 hours.


But, SeerHost is probably the better option since they don't have as many customers hence zero lag, faster customer support, cheaper prices etc.

Edit: Then again I'm being biased because I use them.

 

I've never used seerhost's support but I VERY seriously doubt they are better than PhotonVPS' customer support. Every ticket I submit I get a response within 10 minutes, if not 5.

Although I must say Photon is a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Edit: I'm in no way bashing seerhost or advertising Photon as being better. Just stating what I believe.

Not even trying to get affiliates at all. I could care less if you clicked on my banner as it doesn't even make that big of a difference. Anyone here who runs a large number of bots knows that the money from botting exceeds getting money from referrals easily.

I am MERELY stating my own botting EXPERIENCES as I personally run Sorc Garden bots and the cost of running these bots are easily paid for within 2.5 days of botting. On the other hand, i've personally never used Seerhost nor have I really heard anything bad about them, but I see people complaining about low success rates which could attribute to many factors including the VPS provider that they are using. With that being said, anyone here is entitled to their own opinion and decision of the VPS they would like to select. The purpose of my post was to illustrate how smooth my botting experiences have been and it has been attributed to everything I stated in my post.

For you VPS noobs out there, the reason I went with PhotonVPS over Seerhost is that PhotonVPS' Warp4 package is run on XEN, while the Seerhost Gold Package is run on OpenVZ. Now what is the difference between the two? OpenVZ allows you to oversell RAM meaning 24 GB RAM on a server can be resold as a total of 48GB RAM to people. In XEN, however if there is 24 GB RAM on a server it can be resold for a total of 24 GB RAM. What the hell does that mean? In simple terms, XEN allocates more dedicated resources which allows you a faster and reliable service. With that being said, to fully maximize bot usage I am able to bot literally 24/7 without it ever going down.

This would be good side money, but I would never personally make it a full time job.

 

Well technically it could be made into a decent time job for someone thats pretty young of age, but of course its not going to last forever i give it a year or so

 

RSBots.net says it's against the rules to bot with multiple accounts on one auth. Are you denying that, or are you simply saying they won't actually ever do anything if you do? Thanks.

 

Yes, it is against the rules to use multiple accounts per auth and if they find out they will ban you. However, the only way for them to actually detect you is through multiple ip addresses. That is why you would only need one auth per VPS, but you are encouraged to purchase and follow their rules to support bot makers. The amount that a botter can make actually makes the one-time auth code a very cheap price.

I have to agree that Photon VPS is by far one of the best botting vps out there. They are almost always up. I have 2 packages from them and i have had to restart my vps ONCE in the past 4 months.
