So a lady tried to sell me some Jesus

I think I'm a magnet for these people. I guess I have that heathen look on my face. This time, I actually decided to debate her, and I was shocked at how frustrating it was. It's like, her answer to everything I said was "That's what Satan wants you to think. Satan rules the world."

Then she kept saying shit like "How do you think the sun got there. How is earth so perfect for life." I replied with letting her know she was using a God of the Gaps argument, to which she replied that I shouldn't let Satan fool me with this fancy-shancy science/logic and that it was all made up by Satan to fool me and Satan was ruling my life.

It's like you can't even debate with them. The second you disagree about anything it's Satan fooling you. I was pretty damn frustrated.

She was using the bible as proof that the bible was written by god. "Of course it was put here by god. It says it right here on this scripture!"

Wow. I was quoting poets and authors I like and she was saying it didn't matter because the men who wrote that stuff were influenced by the devil and had become his helpers. They she was saying, "Well my book was written by God. Who are you going to believe, a science book or a logic class teacher or God?"

I just wanted to say, Bitch there is no God!

 

I'm constantly approached by people who claim "A little sheep is following you." It creeps me out, I hate these over-religious people.

 

It gets even more annoying when they come knocking on your door.

Although I am baptized, I kinda believe in reincarnation. This world is too complicated to deal with religion, espiecally considering the earthquake in Japan today.
