Unbanned my account for macro

I managed to unban my account, which was banned for macros, by saying I got hacked. Was I just lucky, or does it work every time?

System is still pretty automated from my understanding. So Lucky, However this is one of the most common responses to a Ban.

 

I appealed a double manual perm and got it back after waiting some years
