How to access runescape? blocked by router

My friends brother is really smart with routers and has made it his will to block runescape completely. We have tried everything to get on...proxies, https, even pinging the world. when we entered (snap7-bond0-4.jagex.com) runescape completely loaded but when we tried to log in it said unexpected server response. Please help us out

 

He blocked it with a router?

Uh, I've never heard of this. Do you mean parental control? ;o

 

buying a new router is probably ur best hope then :/

 

Perhaps resetting the router would remove the block? Although, I can't say I've had any past experience with something like this.

 

Buying a new router is not an option and if i reset it he would just change it back, i need a permanent solution.

 

Do some research on Google on how to fix this and if it is not a major change, he will not notice and so you keep playing without him around and when he does re-change it, do what you researched and repeat.

 

What kind of router, and how did he block it?

 

The router is cradle point, were not exactly sure how he blocked it.

 

try doing world113.runescape.com <- this is not a phish, this is how you used to be able to log into world 2 without having to click it (old world select system). Should work with any world if you don't believe me try doing world(w/e).runescape.com
I've been using it to bypass my filter for about a year now and have not been hacked, nor found that I've had any other ip log into my account nor malicious programs found.

 

These instructions are assuming the guy that set up your router treats you like an idiot and doesn't change your router's admin password. If he has, I guess you could download Brutus or something and then start on step 5, and instead of typing in the password from step 3, just run Brutus for a couple hours to crack his password.

1. Go up to your router
2. Write down the brand and model of it
3. Go to http://www.routerpasswords.com/index.asp and look up your router
4. If your router still has its default log in, which most newfags that don't manage there own routers do, you will now have its password.
5. Open command prompt (if you do not know how to do that, click Start, click Run, type cmd and hit enter)
6. Type ipconfig and hit enter to find out your default gateway address
7. Open an internet browser and in the address bar, type in that address and hit enter
8. Your router's control page will come up. Using the log in you learned on step 5, log in so you can make changes.
9. You should be able to easily navigate and do the rest yourself. Just look for anything like blocked ports, addresses, etc.

 

Is the computer you're attempting to play on connected to the router via a wireless or wired connection? If it's wired you could plug your computer directly into the modem, be warned though, this is extremely unsafe.

Another option is to unblock it yourself, but I'm going to assume your friends brother has changed the password so only he can access it, which means your only other options would be to ask nicely for him to unblock it, or beat the shit out of him.

 

I have this problem too - connect to a different WiFi network =/ That's what I do ... proxies don't work for runescape

 

When we type world113.runescape.com it says forbidden

 

reset the router and put a password on it.

use google to solve your problems and actually learn something.

 

To people saying to use google, learn to read. I have tried almost every method possible and resetting the router is not an option as the router is in his room. I need away to bypass the block

Download a client for runescape? or a bot? and just disable the bot and use that? Also, is he in his room 24/7? Since you said the router is in his room and you cant get to it?

 

Switfkit still uses www.runescape.com so if they blocked runescape i highly doubt SK would be of any use to you.

If your looking to by-pass the block just directly plug your computer into the modem lol, if thats not applicable your going to need to find the username/password for the router. www.portfowarding.com has all the router types and defualt user name an passwords + a few guides on how to go about changing settings on your specific router.
