Java Drive Bye from Sythe?

I have recentely been hit by a Java Drive bye (2nd one in about 1 week).

The only things that were open were Sythe, PhotonVPS (not running anything), and Paypal.

Where do these things come from?

I use Malware Bytes and I ran it... I cleaned my computer of it.

TBH besides all the porn sites (jk, jk) I really only visit ESPN, ESPN affiliates, Sythe, Runescape, PhotonVPS, Youtube.

I NEVER download anything and rarely click on any links at all.

I've been to Bugabuse.net a couple of times.

Also, if they don't just "happen" idk who would be trying to get me lol... $0 in Paypal, 2 accounts with a total of 30m on them, and thats about it TBH.

 

Runescape Wiki has a Java Driveby through the form of an advertisement it seems.

 

^ haven't been to Wiki since I experience something like that over a month ago.

 

Edit, happened again. This must be from sythe. After the Java thing popped up the little bar at the top of the page came down that said this site was trying to download something.

That happened to be last night!

I use firefox, clicked the x and a fake anti-virus scan came up.

Had to manually shut down and go into safe mode and scan with malwarebytes to get rid of it. Removed 4 items.

 

I haven't gotten anything like that.. wonder whats that from? I mean the sythe pop up box thing.
