Mage Boxing

Mage boxing is around 3/4 of your defense to magic according to Jagex, and about 20% or so your actual defense level. If you're having trouble hitting them, use blood/ice blitz, more accurate.

 

Def does matter, just not a ton
I had virtually the same thing happen to me

 

Def is 30% of your def against mage atks. And the other 70% is based on ur mage lvl

Sure feels bad losing 100m 4x in a row to a kid with 29 def levels lower...

 

Defence doesnt matters on MB. An account with 99 mage, def and hp could be owned by one with 99 mage, 1 def and 99 hp. I guess its just luck.

mage level counts as 70% def lvl as 30%

FUCK MAGE BOXING!!!!!! start with 5mill end up with 20mill than someone lower lvl comes up and cleans u... ur better off with regular boxing

 

defence doesnt matter. a level 50 with 99 hp and 99 mage can beat a level 138 maxed.

 

I have a lvl 123, 89 def, 95 hp and 99 mage and I've beaten plenty of maxed guys. Defence doesn't matter too much but it does matter, you just got unlucky.

Don't think you should win every stake, that's not the right attitude to have because you WILL go on a losing streak at one point. Your stats aren't at fault.
