How to split images for the perfect signature in 6 easy steps

Have you ever wondered how people make "hyperlinks" on their Sythe signatures? Have you tried doing one, but still can't line up the images perfectly?

Hello again, Sythe members :) In this thread, I'm going to show you how to split images into up to 100 pieces. It's very simple, the only
thing you require is an internet connection, and the image you want to split.

One. Get the image you want to split, I will be using this one:

Two. Go to www.picslice.com and scroll down a little, then browse the picture you want to slice up, and click upload.

Three. There you will see your image. Click on Slice picture, then you will see 2 blank spaces. Fill them up as you want your image to be split.

Four. Your image will now be splitted. Download them by clicking on them, or click on Download ZIP (I recomend downloading on ZIP, its more simple than clicking one by one

Enjoy your image with hyperlinks :) (with hyperlinks I mean what when you click the image, it will take you to the link)

    OPTIONAL:

Five. Upload them to your favorite image hosting site, and then go to Sythe and click on "User CP", then go to edit signature.

Six. Paste the codes[/B] on your signature until they are lined up, then add links and other stuff you want :)

Here is the finished work (click on "vouches" or "botting services"):

TIP: If your image was a png, you will have to take them to photoshop again once they are splitted up, because that site doesnt supports them.

Hope you enjoyed my guide, if it was helpful to you, please support me on my User Educator thread fount HERE.

It's a pretty decent guide. Though, I don't know why you used such a small image for your example. You have a few grammar and spelling errors here and there. Try going back and proof reading your thread. Here are some tips:

    1. There is no word called "Splitted."
    2. Try using a bigger image for your examples. Maybe like the one at the end of the thread.
    3. Don't use "1" or "2" for one-digit numbers. You spell it out like "One" or "Two." For two-digit numbers and above, you can use "33" or "100."
    4. You do not need the "-" after the period when you number your steps.
    5. Explain to us what "buttons" are. Also, try using an example of these "buttons." Instead of just the picture, put the actual links in them so the users will know the final outcome.

Overall, it is not a bad guide. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for posting this. I wanted someone to verify this guide, but the PM was never answered. English is not my main language, so its hard to me to detect those errors. Here in Mexico, we use ".-" after a number, its somewhat a grammar rule. And for the buttons thing, ill be sure to add them.
Thanks for posting this, this will help me a lot with my future guides :).

Btw, sorry is there is any mistake up there ^ >_<

EDIT: I edited the main post, hope its mistake-free now :)

I don't think making the images will improve the guide. It would just make them blurry and harder to read, and personally, I think they're fine. The third is thing is just silly, you have to spell one and two, but not thirty three? Either do them all spelled out or use the numbers. Don't do both.

Btw, Korasi, they aren't called buttons- it's hyperlinks ;). I suggest you changing it to that. Overall, a very good topic to choose, I always wondered how people made this and finally know. If you can make more guides on these interesting topics, it would help your application immensely.

    agreed with the buttons/hyperlinks.
I always learnt to fully write numbers below 20 and just type the numbers for 20 and above :p

Very nice guide anyways, I'll probably use it if I ever get a cool sig made^^

Overall I like the guide. It's very simple, yet it's something quite a few people on this site can actually use. That's something that I think quite a few people lack in their guides. They make great guides, but it's full of information people will honestly never use.

As Cosrob said, you'll want to change "buttons" to "hyperlinks". Also, if you're having trouble with simple grammatical errors, I suggest writing your guide in a word document before posting it. That way you'll be able to correct the vast majority of those errors beforehand.

Ok, I changed buttons to hyperlinks. I really wasnt sure about buttons, but couldnt think on anything else. Thanks for letting me now :D

Thanks. Btw if you need anything with your sig let me know, ill be glad to help you :)

When I first came to Sythe, I wondered how these hyperlinks could be made (i didnt knew the name back then). After researching for a bit, I fount picslice, and could finally made the perfect sig :). If I was new to Sythe again and saw a sig like that I would probably try to make one. This guide guide might not be useful for users like Greg or Plznate (they have pro sigs) but for someone who just started Sythe.

I havnt tought of using Word to check spelling, as I only use Mozilla built in autocorrect. Thanks for the tip, I will try it for sure :)

It's a grammar rule where I live to spell out numbers less than ten, and not to spell out numbers above ten. Sorry, I thought it applied here as well.

How to split images for the perfect signature in 6 easy steps

This is a really good guide! I was actually wondering how people do this.
One thing though, it's more related to PhotoShop, than the guide.

Which format of picture 'slices' best? Because I find that .jpg pictures are rather fuzzy, but are much smaller in size (memory). Which do you use?

I liked this guide, as you detailed each step really well, and explained things, even though English isn't your first language!
    Thanks alot.
