    An Auth Code "Swapping" Forum

First off, I know that trading/buying/selling auth codes is against the rules. I'm assuming this is because they are easily recovered/reissued.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of anyway that would make it so auth code "swapping" would be allowed on Sythe.

To do this, we would have to impliment rules/ideas for the section. First, is there anyway to ensure that the codes do not get "recovered" (aka reissued)?

Anyway, probably a stupid thread, please delete it if this seems unsuitable for the website.

I just had this idea of swapping because if someone recovered one on from you you could do the same. TBH it would be very useful since I'm sure we all have auth codes we do not use (due to the fact we've already achieved 99 from it) and auth codes that we want to purchase but can't.

One of my ideas for this thread would be to assign a few members who dictate who is allowed to swap auths. Basically, the Auth Swapping Moderators would read applications (with minimum requirements of say 250+ Posts, 1 year + on sythe, 10+ legit vouches) and then accept people to join the threads. I know, I wouldn't be allowed to join with my rules. Yet ;).

Honestly, recovering an auth code isn't any harder then recovering a Runescape account if it has been sold by the original owner.

Like I said, probably a dumb suggestion but I feel like if we could find a way to make it work if would be a good addition.

It is because of them getting failed, but it should be allowed to sell unique codes to the buyer's email, so he would get an unused Auth, I myself could buy some and sell for the members, I have never botted, but I could help the people in this way.

This Idea I kind of like. Some people don't have way to buy the bot, but would be willing to pay w/ GP or something. I doubt it'll ever be approved but I like it.

    oHai!

    Ontopic;

I don't think that it will happen.
The chance of getting scammed is pretty big though.

But I like this idea :)

This should be allowed, because it is an used product, and you can help to buy anything you want and myself if I would get the right price in GP, I would be able to help to buy many auths for the people.

Moreover, if the buyer gets the code to his email, it becomes his code and it can not be recovered.
Selling already bought codes should not be allowed, but selling and providing the unique and needed code the the buyer's email should be, because it is just helping to buy and only the buyer can see the code.

auth codes can be banned but they can also be reversed(or however you call it)
They can just swap it like 10 times then reverse it so they get a new auth code for it.

    No from me.

You can not, if you do not sell your own codes, but buy them for the person and provide his email, so you have no access to a code, only the buyer has, so this should be allowed.

First off, to the person who said this is against the rules. Obviously, thats why I posted it in suggestions.

To WeRnIs: Your suggesting the auth code be sold with the email? This would work if people started to buy auths with unused emails; however, many people have already bought auths with their main emails. Maybe this isn't what you said, but I think it is.

TBH, auth swapping wouldn't be anymore dangerous than account selling/swapping. This is why I proposed either high requirements to join the forum, or possibly a stick at the top that says: BEWARE! It is extremely easy to recover an auth code. Only trade with sellers that you trust.

T M to the buyers email, not to provide it with an email.
And I do not support swapping, only unique and new auths selling directly to the buyer's email should be allowed.

No, they are delivered to the provided email while buying it and you can pay not only via paypal, via Google Checkout for example.

    No support.

Too easily re-issued, then you would just lose the Auth you traded for.
All you need is the purchase address, and the Auth code to re-issue it.

Completely against this.. Auths are extremely easy to get banned, all someone has to do is add it to the Auth panel why someone else has it on their auth panel. As well, one individual can claim they have many copies of one auth while in fact they're just "swapping" the same one. This leads to them getting free auths from people and adding them to their client and then running their client. The auths will then work until the client is closed.
Doing so, a person gets one auth banned while getting 2+ other individual's auth's banned?

    No go for me.
