Honestly, I have them send as payment for goods with that note. Personal payments should be avoided. Like I said in the guide, you can't prevent the second chargeback using anything other than good background checks on the person.

Someone's trying to do this with me. I just told paypal he's attempting to fraud me. Lucky he doesn't seem a very smart scammer.

    Paypal: Chargebacks and Limitations

I have used PayPal many years and traded with tons of people on web, but I haven't had any problems ever.

PayPal tries to get the scammers off, but same time the people can make report for false things.
It isn't able to get all the scammers off.

The best way is to remove all the moneys from your PayPal balance just after the trade.
Make sure that you always have claim about that you haven't did anything what scammer could claim.

As long as the chargeback is filed while the withdrawal is still pending, PP will reverse the withdrawal.

It means Paypal suspects the account being stolen or being abused, such as abusing gifts.

Just a quick question about this since it seems the best way to receive payments as I am looking to set up a gold shop.

If the buyer went first and provided that information in their note, wouldnt the seller have to be very trusted not to just walk off with the money since the buyer has technically admitted that they have received the goods even though they havent?

    Thanks.

I've lost $1k from chargebacks on Paypal, I honestly dont know if I can use them anymore, anyone can get their money back after already receiving things, it is honestly pure bullshit.

According to Paypal's chargeback policy, you're ineligible for a return if your claim was nonreceipt because they do not offer protection for payments for virtual items. Thus, the fluff "I have already received the items and I will not charge back" is utterly useless. They don't care if you receive it or not because it's a virtual item; and they do not care if you SAY you won't charge back, because you still can.

Basically, unless you're committing a crime, your payments are permanent for anything you're buying on Sythe (except non-virtual items).

    Paypal: Chargebacks and Limitations

If the person you are trading with knows what they are doing, there's nothing to be done except not trade with them. If they send you the money, they WILL get it back.

Tips to avoid people using chargebacks: avoid newbie accounts which seem to know too much about trading. For example, if its their first post but they say, "I'll buy 200m paypal you seem trusted so I'll go first", they are probably going to scam you. Also, when a person gets a deal situated and is about to pay but says something like, "Hang on a few minutes" all of a sudden is probably setting up his VPN. (Smart scammers will have it set up the whole time, though.) Just turn your cynicism and paranoia radar all the way up in any trade involving PayPal. The average chargeback amount that I've had is like $50, so people don't just do it for large trades anymore.

okay, i think i got screwed.

some guy offered me 1$/m , well that is pretty high indeed but it wasnt that absurd.

he was a TWC, so i let him go first in increments.

he transfered the money to my paypal. 200$ in total.

and now paypal blocked the money and is checking it....

god imma kill this son of a bitch.
