How often is a LEGIT 138 Sold?

Hi guys, I am interested in puchasing a very good main account.

The account I am looking for would require:
99 in all combat stats
85+ slayer (prefer 90-95+)
Ability to make overloads (prefer 100+ banked Ovls)
80+ Dungeoneering (Prefer 95+ for range pray, asn, 3+ chaotics)
Also good stats in other skills (2100+ Total)

Obviously this account would be pretty well quested but that is also a requirement.

My question is, how often is one of these sold? I feel like literally 90% of those accounts being sold are going to be recovered with in the week. And out of the remaining 10% probably 5% are going to be recovered months/years after when the member decides to come back to RS and wants his account back (no longer active on sythe).

So, how often does a mod/exmod/ect sell an account like this, and what would the price be (assuming around $300-600)

The honest answer of how often a 138 is sold, is not very often, and to be honest i can sorta see why most of the account sold are due to being cleaned so idiots come here with a decent post count an a few vouchs sell there account for a month or so, and then they get it recovered once they have bank on it again.

Im sure there are some wonderful storys of legit trades for maxed accounts i just havent come across anyone trusted enuff on this site yet.

I personally have been scammed 200m and the account was recovered 6 days later (1 day before the long pin sets in) lucky im not an complete retard an didnt xfer anything onto it until i knew the pin would be in place. =|

 

You cant really be sure if he/she is going to recover it back.
You never know..

 

I've sold many accounts never recovered check my vouches, just depends on the seller.

edit: it's best not to work with 3rd party accounts, I remember years ago it was easier to buy/sell accounts. Not today though.

 

$400 , just go around account selling its quiete easy to buy stats like tht specialy mains

I suggest you to create an account on your ip and put a 3 month pin and then pay someone to max it by botting for 6-8 hours a day. This way, you can recover it easily when needed and will cost you about 200$. It can take a month or more to get it maxed but you are absolutely safe as no one can recover it.

I believe this is referring to 3 months worth of membership. At one time they were referred to as pins, now they are known as upgrades.

You should always look for legit sellers, not newcomers looking to sell 138's for like a 250M A/W. That is an unrealistic A/W for a level 138 IMO. Good luck buying!

 

I saw an ex-mod selling his maxed account once. Before you make a big trade for an account its always good to get their phone number/name so if you have any problems you know who to contact.

Also no legit person is going to sell their account for less than 400-500

 

Only buy from legit people.

 

You would normally expect most of these accounts to be stolen. So a legit seller would be like... yellowstone erupting.

 

I saw the account in Gohan's sig... Its maxed and is worth more around the $1000 ball park (+ it has 300m).

Also, is there a way to reset the account information so only you can recover it?

 

Thats the risk of buying accounts original owners can always recover

 

Not often unless it's a mod/admin omm HIGHLY TRUSTED user selling otherwise it's more then likely gonna be a complication within the trade.
