I'm sorry to everyone that disagrees!

I just can't stand it.

For one, I cannot understand the lyrics. Therefore, takes all the meaning out of the song?

And Two, When I do find the lyrics, It is always about death and other weird things.

I mean come on, what is wrong with Ke$ha or Katy Perry, they can sing AND they are PRIME.

metallica isnt really metal its more of hard rock, i think hes talking about people screaming/growling with double bass pedals and four guitarists

 

I like everything. You claim that you can't understand the lyrics in metal, but there aren't lyrics in techno and in most rap songs you can't understand what they're saying either. People mainly listen to music because of the beat or tone involved.

I can understand quite a lot of the 'screamo' songs.(Yes I know screamo blah blah lame way to describe it) Their is a lot of metal bands tho, Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc. easy to understand.

I used to like heavy metal, but when I started smoking weed I started listen to rap.

But can you understand the lyrics of the guitar? Having vocals that are screaming is just another noise, that some people like and some don't. I think it's sex to my ears, others don't. Good to be opinionated.

 

Metal is decent, if you talk about legit old school metal like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer, Black Sabbath, etc.

I can see why you don't like it but you're probably talking about screamo. (Used to like it but now that I look back at it, I made some mistakes)
