    After regaining control of my computer, and emails. I've been asking myself, what is the most safe / secure email provider at the moment?

    When I was hacked, I was using hotmail. I have now created a gmail account, but I see that FireZ has had his email hacked, even though he is on gmail. Any ideas?

    Before 4days ago, I had never been hacked either. But looks like my run came to an end, and that's the reason I'm posting this.

    Gmail is your best bet. It is the safest provider out there, and I love how fast, smooth. and simple it is.

    Yes, it's actually pretty decent.

    If you don't want something that common and want an e-mail that is VERY hard to impersonate, go Hushmail, like I did.

    They won't have [email protected], but I'm sure you can get [email protected], @hushmail.com, etc.

    Thanks for the replies mate. I'll look deeper into them both, and hopefully won't have any problems regarding my computers' safety.

    I use a different email for my account and sythe for when I trade with people that is one way you can keep your email safe. Also make sure anti-virus and FIREWALL are up to date! that is key. Unless you give personal information out or your email out for accounts you should be pretty safe.

    You gotta think with a little bit of information anymore people can find just about anything about you. Good luck hope this helps a bit.

    Gmail.

    You can have sms verification.

    Basically, I could give you my email account + password, and you still wouldn't be able to get on without;

    SMS verification, or SMS codes given to you when you first sign up for this security feature.
