I'd love to see another PSM come into play, specifically Marcell.

Yeah I try my best to help others in that forum.
Sometimes I see people post and I'm like "Ehhh, did they really just post that?".

I agree 100% on making it stricter.
It should be one of the top priorities to be moderated. (On the level of reports/trolls/etc.)

The personal support section needs to be tightly moderated to avoid incidents like the one mentioned by OP. Even a single harsh comment can be enough to push someone deeper into suicidal thinking etc..

If this cannot be done then I would suggest closing that area as these area's often do more harm than good.

I think that even with tighter controls the person is likely to have read that post before it is removed and so the damage will have already been done?

People like you disturb me. That was not valid advice, it was pure scum. A persons life could very well be in danger and all you choose to do is mock him or her. I only hope that one day you get put into a similar situation, and someone, out of the kindness of their heart, saves you. That way you can reflect on how truly awful you were to that poor soul.

    I agree.

Recently I've been seeing more and more troll post in this section, and it needs to stop. I even remember seeing a troll post just a the other day that I made a spam report on (http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1055622). Even on the less serious problems the PSA section should still be a place where people can openly ask for help without being trolled/made fun of. I know that people are just trying to have fun, but like I said in the earlier spam report this is the PSA section not the Spam Forum.

Yeah, not the section to have fun.

I've reported a ton of posts simply because they're trolling the OP who might actually be harmed by them.

HUGE SUPPORT! People with real problems don't need prepubescent trolls actually doing emotional damage to them in real life.

A PSA mod would probably help enforce the "Zero tolerance policy" a little better.

I'm not saying what he posted was right and quite honestly I don't know if the original post was serious or not about commiting suicide but more then likely the poster did it to get attention I mean who would really post on sythe about something that big I know I wouldn't.My point is that it was more then likely a joke for the poster or atleast a fail attempt at attention and this persons comment was probably keying on the fact that he thought it was a joke. I'm not saying what he did was right just saying that viewing it from his shoes might help you see the situation in a different light and maybe his intentions weren't as bad as everyone thinks they were
