Is Player Auction Safe ?

Hi

I have been scammed a total of $400 by selling gold via paypay
So ....
I hear player auctions is a safe trade method, i have had a look at there website
created my account Etc.
I would just like to hear some positive/negative feed back about the site, how they deal with charge backs etc.
If anybody knows anything please let me know.

Yup its extremely safe. just have pics of you giving the rsgp to buyer.

But they do take 2 days to pay you...

There is no way that I know of that the buyer can chargeback. Once the money is sent, there is no taking back. It will guarantee a safe trade but take pictures of the gold trade in RS so incase, the buyer says that you did not deliver, you can use the picture to show proof that you did.

 

Yes, it seems like a great way to trade gold without the charge back hassle.
Just noticed there fees are pretty much 10% + a $2 charge for sellers.
Pretty hefty but it sure beats getting paid $0 once some 5yr old opens a dispute

PA is extremely safe. I sold about 300 dollars worth of gold on it last week flawlessly. It went quick and the trades were VERY smoothe. I highly recommend it - it's getting more and more popular.

Don't worry, I lost over 300 dollars on chargebacks, so I switched to PA. Nothing bad has happened since.

 

Yup, nothing worse than getting that horrible E-mail from Paypal saying ''You have open disputes'' + Your account is now limited =|

How long have you been using Player auctions for now ?
i just set up a shop, but starting small with a 5M trade just to get the drift of how things work etc.

What happens with delivery times ?
i have my delivery time to 2 hours as i am online pretty much most of the time, But if they decide to purchase when you are asleep etc and you fail to deliver will that not go against you ?

 

I've been using it for about a week or two now.

As for delivery times - someone places an order and you are timed how long it takes you to deliver the gold since the order is placed. You can confirm delivery by going to your orders page.

If you don't want someone to purchase while you're asleep, I recommend setting guaranteed delivery time to 24 hours. Keep in mind this is just the guaranteed time and people will care more about your average delivery time (what you will see after making 5 trades). What I do is tell people not to order if I'm not online in my description.

 

You can become a power trader which makes the payment instant im not quite sure how you do that but im pretty sure they reduce the fees as well.

How much did it cost you for your last sale? and what worth was the sale?

 

I sold 50m gp for $40. Ended up getting $36.02 when it was all done with

 

They charge hefty fees though right? Or are they reasonable? I heard its like 2 bucks + like 10% or something.

If WU is 100% Safe, then PA is 99.99% safe.

Why is WU safe ?
Can people not request charge backs if paying via WU if its so safe how come everybody is not just using that

Might look at WU website and see what policy they offer.

 

It's expensive to send money through WU. Cost me like $113 just to send some cash to someone in the UK.

 

The reason WU is so safe is because they can't charge back. Most sellers get the money first so there is no way to get scammed. If you haven't checked the WU website i'd suggest you look at it asap. It'd probably help you out alot. They could tell you alot more then i could. Hope i helped.

 

As far as i heard PA is super-safe.

Ive opened an account and gold shop there yesterday.
The only 'problem' are the fees (9.99% + 1.99$), but tbh, i gladly pay that to avoid chargebacks (i used to sell small amounts of gold at once to avoid bigger chargebacks, but in the end i still lost a pretty amount to chargebacks+ it's extremely time consuming).

So yeah sold 16M for 15$ (will receive 12.27$) and 80M for 80$ (will receive 74.04$ or something).
They'll pay me friday, will let u know if they do, but i don't doubt it tbh

It takes 2 days and 23h till its in my paypal after i gave the gold i think.
