My situation:

The buyer disputed with an Unauthorized Claim. However, I told him to put a note saying "This is a virtual item sale which I have already received." which he did.

I responded to the dispute by providing evidence of the whole msn conversation that I have indeed sent the virtual item.

Do you think I'll get the money back or is this just a lost cause? :'(

Recently, I sold a Santa to a person for $88
He paid for it with this note
"I am paying for goods I have already received and am satisfied with. . Sent using the PayPal Mobile application."

But now he opened a dispute and now I have -$88 on my paypal.
The dispute was opened as a unauthorized payment.
I don't know what to do, please help

A similar situation happened to me too. I provided paypal with pics of the msn conversation. It's been 3 days and its still being reviewed by paypal.

Hello. So recently I have been selling runescape gold for real life cash using PayPal.

I passed 2500$ yearly line. So they wanted me to proof more documents of my identity.

I wanted to ask, do I need to be 18 years old to do action like that - selling/buying/withdrawing money?

They asked me proof identity and adress.

Will they re-open my account? That is not any fake PayPal, eferything is good, haven't fucked anything, everything should be good.

Please tell your experience too and any tips.

If they will not open my account, I will contact my advocate, because have not done anything wrong.

They will if you will complete the steps.
You can open a student account if you are not 18 years old.

 

If you're under 18, you will need your parents to contact PayPal with you. Have them say that they knew about your PayPal account but didn't know there was an option for students. This should get your account upgraded to Student status, at least.

 

Hey guys, so recently I was scammed when I was selling gold. The person paid for the gold as a gift and included the note "This is payment for virtual items which I already received", but then later opened and Unauthorized Payment claim and won the dispute.
What I'm wondering is this: if you have the person send the payment as a gift, open an unauthorized payment claim, and then cancel the claim, would this make them completely unable to chargeback at all after that? Basically what I'm saying is, is it possible to claim and cancel a gift?

 

It's not possible to claim and cancel a gift online. The buyer will need to call paypal to cancel the dispute.

Last night, I was selling 55M RSGP. The person I was trading claimed to be another person though. And once I asked him for a PM verification, he wouldn't do it. So I did what I would usually do to imposter's/scammers.
I called him out, told him a bunch of shit. He later threatened me that he'd lock/freeze my paypal account by sending a HUGE amount of money.

However, in Canada, we aren't limited by the amount of money we receive. We are limited by the amount sent.
Now idk what to do since, in my mind, I could be charged.

HELP?!

 

LOL. I dOnt think anyone will send a large amount of money to get you limited. I think he was trying to Intimdate you and make you send him the gold.

I am trying to remove my bank account from my paypal account and I keep getting the below message even though I have never sent a payment from my bank account and have no open disputes or anything like that. Anyone know how to remove a bank account?

You cannot remove this bank account because it currently has a pending transaction. This transaction may take up to 3-5 days to complete, at which time you will be able to remove the bank account. Please try again after the transaction has been completed.

You won't completely remove your bank account or a credit card, you won't be able to use it on the other Paypal account.
