Predicament...

ive been getting close to an old ex and theres still a flame, but i've also started talking to a guy i used to have a huge crush on when i was still in school and we came to an agreement that wed just be 'friends with benefits'. i dont wanna lead the ex on even tho i did sorta tell him i do still love him. i just find new unknown romance more exciting.

what do??

 

I think it would be smarter to make a hard decision early on then try and juggle these 2 predicaments, because they may spiral out of control and end up much worse. Better to break one heart now IMO. On another note, from personal experience getting led on sucks really bad.

 

It's possible to still love somebody while not wanting to be with them for reasons. IMO, if it didn't work the first, it won't work the second. I'd go for the new person.

Depends who you love better, it's not about looks.

I suggest spending time again with the person you did the most before.

If you really don't want to, then I guess you should move on.

 

When someone tells you they want to be "Friend's with benefits", I'm pretty sure they mean I just wanna fuck you without a real relationship.

No point in hiding it I guess. I'm the OP. And I know exactly what friends with benefits means, and I'm cool with that. I'm just concerned for the other guy. How do I tell him what's going on without crushing him?

Well, what we pretty much have here is the opportunity to set him up. Not sure if you'd be willing to do this, but see if he does something wrong, and pretend like you hate him for it o;

Tell him straight up, let him down gently, and never use the excuse, "it's not you, it's me" because everybody knows that means "It's not me, it's you"

 

My suggestion would be to bring up that you are just FWBs and let him know that you have another source for it now.

Are you serious? That is definitely not helpful... Don't spam random crap... These people posting here legitimately need advice and help.

 

All that shows is friends with benefits. Just because it "has to do with" the OP's post, doesn't mean it helps.

 

The best you can do is lose 1 of them, if you keep up seeing the two of them it's only going to make things worse in the future.
