I'd rather not email them because the last "bug/mistake" was rollbacks, and those got you banned for reporting.

I can't subscribe some, but I think that might be a maxed amount of PP subscriptions made per day.

Meh, they can cancel my subscription if they wish but I will be expecting a refund for the days that I have not used. If not then a chargeback will be in order.

Also, Themaul... If you don't support botting then you have no need to post in this topic.

 

Jagex will never refund you when you have broken the rules. You agree to their terms and conditions each time you pay for mems.

 

If i was Gower, I would have done this a long time ago.
I even posted this as a suggestion back in 2007. It went to a 4th thread and a JMod locked the petition.
Looks like they realized RS for the cashcow it is.

 

This makes me wonder if they are simply removing credit to ALL BOTTERS that they confirmed, or just bots that are GOLDFARMING.

It would be very interesting to find the answer to ^.

On the one hand, this gives botting a big out of jail free card, but on the other hand if this money-making tactic applies to ALL BOTS then there will be swarms everywhere (or, if people are too cheap to re-subscribe after getting revoked, there will be swarms all over F2P until they get banned).

 

Why not email them about 1 account? Then see what they do to that one.

The player is paying for a product which is a 1 month membership. Jagex is basically stealing it back and saying "now buy another." It's idiotic that they're this greedy and won't just ban the botting account.

 

The amount of botters at sorc garden is ridiculous. I just got auto sorc garden a few days ago and I didn't realize how bad it was until yesterday. Someone planted a marker plant right at the gate and clogged up so many bots. I couldn't count how many, but the list of names went off the page. A few people were going through and reporting all of them. Luckily I checked up on mine right after it happened.

 

lol all they're doing is fucking over F2P even more. It's already bad enough, now they're going to push a lot of botters to F2P.

I think they'll just end up losing money. If I get all my bots members cancelled I'm not going to redo it, I'm going to move onto F2P, which I think a lot of people will do the same.

 

Exactly. With all the money towards membership that's wasted, a lot of people can't afford that. I can barely afford 2-3 as it is. First thing I'll do is make more accounts to bot f2p to make up for it. They obviously don't think these things through.

 

Thanks for lettin' us know kero, I'll try to limit my botting. I can't repeatedly pay for multiple accounts membership, let alone one.

 

Kero, bud, did you use a credit/debit card to purchase membership? If so, fagex could have reviewed your info and the 10+ accounts on the card.

 

Now that's just a dirty money-grabbing trick on JaGeX's part.

 

When that happens, Jagex will just ban all the botters in f2p and you guys would even be more pissed since you lost both your membership and the account you were trying to earn back the money with.

Better create over 20 accounts and give breaks for 10 accounts to play safe. Losing half is better than losing everything. I bot 5 accounts in the morning, 5 different accounts in the afternoon and 5 different ones again at night. I doubt they'll ban me lol.

 

If they are doing what I think they are doing, I have lost all respect for them. It's not even about preserving the game anymore, just about the money.

Makes me wonder if they are about to have a huge ass new release or something.

 

This is EXTREMELY good news. Now I can bot SW or anything and not worry about a ban. You can easily get the membs back with the money botted, less than a day of work per account.

Here comes a 21 day SW proggy!
