Chargebacks / Disputes

I've found it extremely annoying having to deal with chargeback's and disputes so...

Maybe have a list of paypal addresses who have chargedback or opened disputes after trading?

What do you guys think? It would prevent other people from getting chargedback/disputed?

 

You realize people can add and delete email addresses from their PayPal account, correct? A list of email addresses would mean nothing. The only slightly helpful list would be one of their personal details, name, address, etc., however, I highly doubt that would be allowed to be posted on here.

 

If its been proven that they are scammers, I see no reason why we wouldnt allow it.

 

Something needs to be done about this. Ban accounts that are found for chargeback/scamming then make their paypal email noticed to everyone. SHAME LIST. I'm actually currently done selling until I feel a better way around this situation.

Exactly. If someone is a scammer, they deserve to have their details made as public as possible.

 

Plznate, are you saying that we should post their personal details or are you agreeing to put up a list of the PayPal email of the scammers?

Scammers can easily change their PayPal email... if you want to get rid of the chargebacks, just use PlayerAuction... this way, they wont be able to chargeback.

 

I agree. I'm just after losing over $300 to some dick who decided he'd chargeback.

 

Use playerauctions, its that simple. Also they can change there paypal address to anything as well...

 

This is a common problem... Now im using player auctions only downside is they take 2 days to pay...

 

Yeah took me 5 days on my first sale, I'd rather wait up to 5 days knowing my paypal will survive to see another day

 

Problem i have with playerauctions is that you need photographic ID for any big sales... And i dont have any which they would find valid.

 

As others have said, it's pointless to make an email list. However, I would encourage you to create a scammer report with their emails, the specifics of the trade, and their name. The information would be input into Google cache and hopefully save a careful seller in the future.
