Scamm Reporting.

Unhappy with how the scam reporting is handled they do there job well but i just dont like how its done i think its flawed a little. i understand they get alot of bs stuff, i see it im there alot but think they should be a little more caring to some people. how do they do the order of who they help? i ben waiting for some kinda feed back for all most 2 days and i see people that post a report get helped right away. some feed back would be nice for the people left waiting not knowing whats going on gets frustrating. i know if you dont have the poof they lock the post. the resent report i ben waiting on some other members were so called scammed i think thats why it's kinda bugging me dont want people to go thew my 130m rsgp lose.

 

Follow the guidelines maybe?

If you follow everything then its fine. If you have no proof, its just wasting staff-time going through your report.

Make sure you use the form in the sticky, and provide ALL of the proof asked. Or you're just going to get locked.

yea i know that was was posted cuz i was nerd raging but i redid it and it got him baned no the one i was having problems with and was not just talking about my post.

 

I got scammed one time ONCE! You cannot trust anyone always take pictures. I personally don't buy/sell anything unless they are trusted members. I personally take videos of the whole transaction. Gets all the conversation in shows in game play everything.

I am personally sick of it sometimes aswell, I have reported 2 scammers recently and neither of them has been banned.

For one of them I provided sufficient proof, for the other one I can only provide chat logs as proof, however seeing as I'm a decently trusted member I think this should definitely be looked into that reports from newcomers vs 2005 members are completely different. I am sick of seeing scammers walk free, and seeing them only banned a few months later after someone has been scammed that has enough proof.

Since those 2 scammers are not banned, I have since now stopped reporting any posts on this forum or making scammer reports, as I'm simply fed up with people not getting banned whilst I know they are scammers.

I am no longer wasting my time and effort into making sythe a better place, when the rules can't even be slightly adjusted in some cases. I don't see how you can take a newcomers word over mine, that's just retarded, I rest my case.

I'm really not sure what you're trying to say, honestly.

Maybe if you had better grammar/spelling, the mods would be able to understand your report better, and take care of it quickly? Also, like Gohan said, try to not post chat logs next time. It doesn't matter if you're nerd raging or not, you're wasting the precious time of Sythe staff. You wasting their time means they have less time to look at scam reports with actual proof in it.

I totally agree with this as i exactly know what you mean, I was affected by the paypal limiting spree which caused me to lose $500+ and as any human commits errors mine was saying that i would scam back (not here in sythe) for whats been done to me, I requested a high pardon saying how sorry i was and how addicted to this forum i was that i needed to come back, my pardon thread was there for like 10 days without replies, i gathered 3 mods support and one not supporting me (Plznate) and i ended up banned.

Here i'm just reading sythe without posting, a $50 donator 30+Vouches trusted with 100M+ many times been perm banned for a minor problem. Sythe is a very mature forum, to me it's the best forum that there is, but some admins/mods just don't even bother reading our disputes/pardons and are that heartless.

Since i came to sythe all i have had is lost, and i mean a big amount. How is that someone who just got scammed ends up been banned?.

I now will probably be banned for ban evading but i had to make this posts i still can't get over it that im banned for something that i haven't done.

I've filed 2 scammer reports.

Both were attended and closed within 1-2 days.
If you have all the necessary evidence, all it takes for a mod to check it confirm it and then ban the person.

If you don't have the necessary evidence, well you won't be banning them anytime soon will you; It's like trying to convict someone of murder when all they were doing is sleeping, you need all the evidence.

 

You do know that there is a thing called Photoshop, right?
And Notepad.
And Paint.

You can edit anything, and everything.

The moderators incharge of the RAS section have to throughly go through everything, to make sure it's legit, before they can act on it.

And your scam report "what the fuck" there are no pictures, from the looks of the improper chat logs, you didn't try to contact him after it was recovered.

You need to do a full scam report, and put in as much information as you can, and like others said above this post, use the format/guidelines that is strictly posted there for a reason.

Do not bitch about something because it's not being done, if it is your fault for it not being done.

If your topic is locked, read why. Or ask why. Then re-post with the suggestion made by the moderator who locked it.
