Duel Arena Scamming? WTF!?

Ight so, my friend just staked this guy, and for some reason he just lost 170M with the SAME rules. Tell me what the fuck is going on here? He couldn't use his Crossbow w/ Bolts or magic bow, and the other guy pulls out knives. Glitch or did he just get caught up in the settings? This is still confusing me because I was about to accept and stake him.

Is there a chance the other guy switched ammo off after this pic was taken?

 

No idea, he said he triple checked everything and kept 2nd screen up for like 20 seconds. I'm still trying to figure this out.

May have lagged when he hit accepted and just so happened to be that the other guy hit no bolts? Range was obviously still on. So the only way he couldn't use it was that the ammo option got blocked.

 

^Only possible explanation. Though that's really weird that your friend left the window up for 20 seconds and it still happened >.<. I dunno of anything else that could have happened though.

 

I think there may be some glitch around, my (Level 136) friend was saying that a level 58 with 58 Range was trying to stake him Range stake 200m today and a bunch of other people around him were saying not to do it.

 

I heard a story of a maxed account losing a divine VS a level 60 to this, i think it is just simple rule changing.

 

are there programs out for scamming duel arena rules? maby its that? i dunno

 

People like that use soul wars and use all their zeal and until they log out their quick chat/hiscores stay at the levels they were before they used the zeal, idk if its patched yet or not but this is probably what he waas doing.

 

This, there are so many glitches lately. I'd just wait with staking till jagex does something about it.
