Jagex updating all skills to 120?

I noticed something today when logging on. Note this is purly speculation and there is probably a reason to why this occurred, but it made me think and I wanted to share.


When you first log into the game and click around on your tabs (skill tab for instance) sometimes the numbers are set at the minimum. Ex. When I first log in the game is loading and it says all my skills are 1/1. Well today it did that except they were all 120. I found this very odd and maybe this is hinting at something in the future. Again THIS IS PURELY SPECULATION and not conclusive evidence the skill cap will be 120. Anyone had any similar experiences? This was only for a brief moment so getting a screenie was impossible, but my eyes were not deceived.

The 120 log in glitch has been around since dung came out. Jagex has said in the past that the have no plans to increase the skill cap on any existing skills.

 

Ok thanks for the info. I have recently started to begin playing again and missed out on this info. I stopped after the wildy updates and now I am back .....I've missed out on alot though.

 

Same here bro had that and what a coincidence me too i restarted playing i quit after the last wildy update and i heard about it comming back so brought back my luring account and killing And i remembered this community to decided to come back hence my join date

 

It's an easter egg, the total level adds up to 1337 meaning Leet.
Mainly happens due to a lagg/logging in and clicking the skills tab

Skills adding up
Ge Offers
Different location (i was in varrock bank, lagged ended up on another account called i obbie maul or something like that up in the ge. Was pretty scared o.o

 

Imagine the actual time spent to max an account out if they put it to 120 ... even easy skills like woodcutting and fishing (afkable) skills would take months an months...

Well, even if they did up the skill cap they would have to add heaps more items to the game because there would be no new things that you can do when you level up.

 

They would have to have items that give WAY better exp than current once.

I.E. Magic tree is say 100 exp , They'd need make a tree thats 400 and 800 exp to get to 120.

 

Well it doesn't exactly add up.

They just changed the total level that's displayed.
