    Ok so I tried hookah Friday with friends. It was completely my own doing and I was under no peer pressure at all. These were good friends and I was just there hanging with them and decided to try.

    I felt kinda uncomfortable at first because everyone there was middle eastern/south asian. I imagine they were thinking "look at this chink trying to smoke". Lol...I tried to just focus on my friends and talk and chill with them. Embarrassed myself in front of this girl I like, I'm sure of it lol. I sat there for 20mins after asking for a tube thingy before I tried. I don't care I guess, I waited until I was comfortable.

    I felt a little tingle in the back of my throat. Is that supposed to happen? Also my friends' smoke came out thicker than mine. Is that bad? Did I inhale the smoke? Am I supposed to somehow prevent it from going into my lungs? I don't get it. Is it just that I didn't suck in too much? AM I GOING TO DIE?? lol

    But seriously, I need lessons.

    Inhaling makes the smoke come out thinner, so you probably did inhale. Inhaling hookah one time isn't gonna make you die lol.

    It is worse yes but I wont do it much. I just don't want to waste my time/health doing it wrong.

    How do I do it correctly? Do I just suck harder? My friends said that I should feel a strong bubble at the bottom of the stand with my foot. It was faint, so I assume I'm not doing it hard enough.
