    ADHD, Myth or Reality?

My brother also has ADHD. I can't describe his symptoms, because he has a bit of autism too. If you have ever LIVED with anyone that has ADHD, you'll know it is a very real thing. You can't just tell by meeting someone, you have to be around them and see them at their best and worst to truely know what's going on.

There isn't symptoms as such. I was diagnose when i was 3. I took a drug called ritallin until i was 10 wich zoned me out; i was like a zombie without a personality. When i turned 11 i started taking 'Strattera'. It controls behavour except impulsivity.
    Keep the comments coming :)

I personally doubt it and if I ever have a child and doctor tells me this bs i'll flip on him.

Kids can and will be annoying and parents look for easy ways to drug kids and drug company laugh their ass off with huge $ spikes on profit making.
Since age of man these "symptoms" have occur to child.

I would not drug my child considering the fact it is unnatural and people depending on putting unnecessarily chemicals into their bodies.

    Trolls.

I think it's a fake disorder used to label people who are a bit more weird. Just like there will be smart people, there will be dumb people.

It's definitely a real condition. I have a cousin who is just insanely hyper when he doesnt take his medication. To the point where he cant focus on anything.

It may be real, but I think a lot of people get diagnosed with it when there's nothing really wrong with them.

Well, personally I don't know much upon this subject personally. But my brother's friend a couple of years back had ADHD, and was just a wild kid in general. Ever since his doctors set him up on meds, he seems like he's changed, more mature in some parts.

Real for sure, When my brother ( who is diagnosed ) doesn't take his adderol he is crazy, but it actually calms him down.

Generic Meth = Calm down? Something's not right.

    ADHD, Myth or Reality?

It's real, I personally know a young child with rather severe ADHD and he acts alot more obedient and less hyper when taking medicine.

To much sugar make kids go crazy
There was a guy in my school who said he had it and all the teachers did things for him he was let off with stuff, you get rewarded for being bad in school.

Go figure that a few years later he ends up in prison for beating a mugging an elderly women.

    I Think myth

It's not 'Fake' It's just a Term given to the illness you have , otherwise it would be undescribable or 'Unknown'

Everything needs to be given a name in order to understand it / Recognize it.
