WARNING: Be vigiliant for fake emails, Read inside

So there i am, reading my emails...
Then i see this. I have not added any Runescape account to this Email address, and as you can see the link looks normal, (but wait?)

You click on the link, it redirects you to a site called Runesnape.com/Random letters and codes (Notice the N, idiots wont notice) And looks EXACTLY the same as the site, with the login and everything.

They catch you off guard, so be careful of emails like this. Just warning the community.

Norton 360 discovered phishing on the site.

 

This has been brought up many many times but I have to say this...
is extremely funny as hell. I just made a new msn just for sythe and for the first time made it public to sythe in my sig. Then a few minutes later I get the same email as you did (runesnape). Haha whoever is on sythe doing this give up fool most of us (at least) are not stupid. I bet sadly people do fall for this.

 

The worst part is that there have been SO many warnings, yet people still fall for these.

Is it me? Most of these emails get sent to my junk mail.

 

Not saying anything, but. theres a website that creates fake emails to people.
just saying.
nothing new here.

 

Fake e-mails are just too easy to spot.
