Honestly now, when your torrenting something, do you seed at all?

I set it too 1 kb/second upload while i download it, and after its done i dont seed it at all, even if its the most high quality torrent ever D;

 

No discussion of warez/torrenting here..

If a torrent is as described when I download it, I will continue seeding it until I have seeded exactly 1.0 back and wish to remove the data. However, if it is not as described and I want to remove the data then I will regardless of how much I have seeded.

 

I will leave a good comment if it's good but I won't seed. In Australia our internet plans have dl and upload limits so I really can't afford to spend it on uploading

I have to admit, I'm a leecher. :/ I need all the bandwidth on my netbook that I can get. :3

 

I do let it seed, I have a crappy laptop I use just for downloading films, so I let it seed until I move onto my next download (when a new movies comes out, which is like very moth or something)

OT: I download torrents and then allow them to seed, no reason why I shouldn't..

 

Simple, for me anyway. Slows down my computer.

Might not be a problem if you have a junk PC you torrent things on, but i only have 1 computer that i use for everything.

Seeding is illegal correct? Not illegal to download, just to seed? I always make sure I'm not seeding, or if I must, seed a blank folder.

 

As with most things on internet lot's of things are illegal. Risk depends on what you seed IMO>

 

I normally seed for a few hours. Normally it's because I do it over night and just leave it on to seed and some times I'm just in a good mood and feel like helping.

According to utorrent, right now, I have 505 gigs downloaded and 1.88 terabytes uploaded.

 

Torrents don't work here at Uni.
