So after recently debating whether to go all out and strain a computer worth 2k+ at 20+ bots and risk it breaking down in less than a month. Though with 24/7 botting it would pay for itself times two, I am contemplating whether or not to just buy two of these.

Could one of these run 8 to 12 bots, or how many do you think it could run.

How do these bare bones kits work? Do I have to build it or is it pre-assembled, may seem like a dumb question since a price that low might insinuate that I have to build it.

I would buy two of these and connect them to one monitor with this.

Well, It seems to me one of those could hold up to about 10 Bots. So I would stay safe and don't run over 10.

They may be a little more inexpensive, but usually it comes pre-assembled, so you wouldn't have to worry on that. If you do have to build them, you could find some webpages the could easily direct you on how to put them together properly.

10 bots is great for a total of 20 bots for two comps. Thanks for your opinion. Do you think that they would be maxed cpu wise at 10 bots, or would I have some wiggle room for youtube and video editing?

What pc were you looking at for 2k? If you post them both then we could help compare them? only way to really tell what's a better value

Last pc was going to have a intel i7 extreme processor, which was 1k, and 12 gigs ram, the other things like the case, minimum hard drive, disc drive, would have pushed it to 2k just because of the processor. I've gone over it a lot and this is my best option, just trying to find out how many bots each one of these barebones kits might be able to use.

Eh, maybe not maxed but they'd be up there. I think you can do some editing but that might take the cake. You should be just good.

    I think I found out why it's a "barebones"

Keep that in mind before you buy anything.

Basically they put a few computer parts together and sell it for a discounted price. You have to build it and install windows yourself. The one you linked doesn't include an OS, GPU, HD, CD Rom Drive.

Don't go with anything i7 TBH, the nexus client doesn't utilize hyperthreading, so that is money wasted. I would suggets you go to ibuypower.com and look into getting a i5 Sandy Bridge system. They out preform AMD by quite a margin, and it is single handily the best prebuilt PC company I've dealt with.

Edit: If you are truly serious about this, add me on MSN and I'll go over some options with you, if you don't even have the 2k yet to spend, don't bother.

Yes, I am truly serious about this, I wouldn't ponder over things I can't do.
