New way of recruiting User educators

Alright, I see this. Did your one bad guide distort your ability to educate the community? No. Hence why guides shouldn't be a requirement.

I agree, I beleive it should be an application process, where the HUE goes and searches the posts of the applicant, to deem weather or not they actually are helpful. This would require multiple HUE's though, and they would have to be active.

I agree and disagree. The only upside in my eyes to seeing a guide on Sythe as apposed to google is that you can ask the person questions. The only thing to this is there is a large chance the person who wrote the guide only looked up enough to throw the guide together, so their guess is as god as the one by their person asking the questions.

 

It didn't. It probably made it better by giving me mor expierence with writing guides.

I suggested something similar in the ue lounge.

You'd be surprised how many guides aren't actually looked up on google. Go to the accepted UEs and search the title of their guides in google you won't find many of the same topics/guides.

 

Looks like they recently got 3 new members, which will help the activity a bit. Also there used to be a nominations process when members got low, suggest that to greg if you need a few more members ; )
