    So I got scammed :(

Yep I was selling my WoW account to some guy named lesle on MSN and all seemed good and legit till I woke up today and realize he is trying to reverse the money. I have provided PP with over 13 files of proof that I have sold my account to this guy(11 screenshots of chat logs though he used different email and a note telling them the whole situation and that I will glady provide any info they need and that they can contact me via cell#). So what I am wondering is how will this end up going and atm he has no evidence to support him but he is verified on PP and I am not. Also I told him to put in the transaction that I will not dispute this transaction as I am trading for a virtual item and I will not claim this was done without my permission. SO fellow sythers how long does this process take and what happens if he doesn't have any proof?

Yea it does, So does anyone know how long this process will take or no?He hasn't provided any evidence on his behalf yet so Im just curious. Also do most scammers actually use their own PP and do they steal it?

10 days. Depends on what he put on his statement and how he filed his counter-part. Otherwise, he's screwed.

Usually a week or two. If the dispute is not fully decided, PayPal will hold the money for 180 days while they look it over, and they hopefully see the evidence favor in your case. So if you have any more evidence i would provide it to them while you can.

    So I got scammed :(

I only have screenshots of chat logs(the actual chat window not just copy and pasted stuff) and he chatted on a different email....but I told them what I was selling and that they can reach me at my number I provide. I also provide a SS of my email showing that my account info was changed at the same time of the chat logs. Also he is verified and I am not but I am providing as much proof as I can

I'm not gonna lie man, but from the evidence you've got, it seems as though he's going to get his money back.

    So I got scammed :(

I understand that and I already got my WoW account back so I cant really lose anything since I didn't spend a dime of the money recieved, I just want to know what the chances are of people winning these. I don't really have solid proof of anything I guess I guess ill just have to wait and see. Also do most scammers use their PP or do they steal them?
