The police are looking for a man wanted for murder. They have no information about him, including: what he looks like, his age, his profession... anything. They arrive at a bar. The only people inside the bar are 4 people. The bartender, a lawyer, a salesman, and a teacher. No one, patron or police, says anything. They immediately walk over to the salesman and take him in to custody. Without knowing any information about the murderer, and without anyone saying anything, how did the police know to arrest the salesman?
I'm pretty sure that that was a satirical riddle. Way to show us all your intelligence by answering the most cliche riddle of all time, though.
