Paypal Payment Options

Hey,
I am looking for the most secure payment option through Paypal that will show me the address of the sender of the money. Whether it be personal or payment, either is fine. I will deal with the small fees if there happen to be some.

My plan for selling gold:

- Sending payment in whatever form shows me their address, attached with a message thanking me for some service.
- Using Whitepages to do a reverse address look up.
- Call the number and confirm that it is the person.
- After person confirms their identity, gold is given and sale is complete.

Thoughts on possible scams? Does this significantly lessen chances of chargebacks?

I will only be trading with those who have confirmed addresses and are verified, so it is really impossible for me to sell to someone using a stolen account.

I would think this lowers the chances of unauthorized access, but not too sure about chargebacks.

I don't think too many people would want to disclose where they live. I do know though that this will lessen the amount of chargebacks or completely remove that little chance. Anyways, good luck with your service and btw, your only able to see the persons address if they set one in their account if they send payment through purchase or something. If they sent as Payment owed or Gift, you will not see the address even if they did set one in their account.

 

What about a donation button?

I checked it out on the Paypal website. The other person sets the amount for the donation, and also can attach a note. There is also an option on my end to make it so their address shows.

What are the risks in receiving the payments in donation form?

 

I believe getting it in donation form is close to the same as you would get it in gift form.

No payment is secure when dealing with virtual good's through paypal.

 

I wish people would agree to this. I would make so much more $$ but NO I get charged back
