Jagex "hacked" me.

How can I be so stupid? I usually NEVER fall for those scams.

You are obviously keylogged/Phished. Please read the sticky and download Malwarebytes as soon as possible.

The offence is cause someone logged in into your account and did something related to RWT. Jagex realised that its not you, thats why its taken off. And yes, you're most likely keylogged.

 

That's a keylogging email, I get three of those a day....

 

Well.. I didn't lose anything? Nothing was transferred off my account. And plus, I'm on a MAC, how could I of been keylogged?

EDIT: I just realized something. The date I got that infraction (RWT), was way before I even started my account.

 

You got phished, you weren't linked to the official Jagex site in the mail, it looks very real however, though.

yea i got the same email and almost thought i was going to be banned.

but i realized sometihn was fishhy cuz i had like 7 different jagex emails and i dont even have a runescape account related to that email lol.

 

I've almost gotten hacked like that too (with a phisher)
I did enter my account info but then a few minutes later I saw it's not the real runescape website, so I changed my password really fast and nothing hapenned. ^_^
