(edit) Oh and buy a two year plan on some company that might possible give service there and use it to hook it up to the laptop + tether.

Seriously? If you are serious lets get in touch. Not kidding.

Are you going to live in dangerous wilderness? If so, bring something to fight off predators?

Well first off im not going to camp behind a fucking whataburger so yeah itll be dangerous..and I take it since you are on the internet you are not blind, so next time read the post and you will notice I am bringing a.) A high powered hunting bow, b.) An Axe. c.) A Machete d.) Pepper Spray e.) An Airgun......

how about a container or something to put all that stuff in....

Well I have no intention on carrying it in my hands...but fair enough, I already had a backpack and case, but ill add it to the list.

Doesn't it say where I am going in OP? If not I apologize, if it does, and you just didnt read it, i hate you >_< . Regardless, it will be up north, and I will be prepared for the cold.

As for the cooking utensils, I did consider this and will be buying silverware, and a few more pans.

k Calm down, I am just trying to help. I suggested getting more quick weapons that will kill instantly and something you can use rapidly.

Who let you on the internet.

Well, Ive been thinking long and hard on that one. My bow can drop a deer, elk, and pig in a single shot, which is nice (Notice I did NOT mention bear =s, only got pepper spray for that). Also, It takes a good 8 seconds for a full reload, if I miss, or only injure, which is kinda worrying.

But...a gun would be hard to come by, and shooting it would make enormous sound, bringing unwanted attention, and likely the authorities. If I were to be found, I would likely be jailed for poaching.

Can you guys think of any more efficent weapons that make low sound though...I mean I can get spears, axes, machetes, and I have the bow..cant get much better than that.

I dont know prices of them, but you can get silencers for guns that could help.

Exactly what I was going to suggest. I heard silencers are pretty expensive but that would definitely help in your case.

Silencers require an extensive background check, cost over a grand easily, not to mention the gun and ammunition costs, so we can rule it out :(.

Also, in the event of getting caught, if I had a silenced gun, It would look really awkward, and make a punishment turn very severe,as poaching with a gun is very very serious crime. If youhaveany suggestions not about weapons feel free, also, location suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for trying to help guys.

Throwing knives in case you miss with the bow and the animal is charging at you, they're very quick if used right. You will need a partner if you get severly injured you're dead or a radio that you check in with people every day.

A very good bear deterrent is noise, so if you can get something that'll be sure to make very loud noise (like a fog horn) then you're good to go on that frontier.

Also, on the topic of gloves (I saw you listed them twice) but be sure to pack multiple pairs suited for different tasks.

e.g. for cold, for use with bow, for skinning/filetting etc.

There's no use having one big bulky pair that'll get wet and be the end of your hands (and effectively your trip) when it gets cold.
