You can get some money for that, you should sue them if it gets serious for harrassment.

Call the police, this isn't suppose to happen, you did something legal to help the police, also you should be able to sue the police for failing to guarantee your personal safety - not letting information leak out.

I may sound stupid, but whether you "Have connections" or not, you should say to them "You don't have a clue who you are messing with". This makes them think, and it may stop them. If it doesn't, then, with you "Having Connections" you can contact them. Your "connections" don't even need to do much, just scare them once and that'll be all.

I have had the shit beat out of me once by multiple guys at a party, but I was asking for it. So don't feel bad.

I always carry one of these in my truck, pocket whereever I go. They are very hand for tools etc.

WHen faced with multiple opponents the trick is to be so brutal with the first one, you make the others hesitate so you can get to them next. When attacking with these knives hold them low near your waist and very close to you. When jabbing with knife , jab out and up in a swift curved motion. THat would be a very hard to avoid attack.

Just remember You did the right thing and it wasn't your fault.

 

And what example are you trying to set within our society? I think he is really brave for what he did although the results are a bit of a bummer. As for the police, that's just fucked up. You should actually sue them, seriously. That's breach of personal information and clearly you life is in danger. As i'm not in your situation man, I can't really say what the best thing would be to do, but this is really bad. But I really think you should sue.

At the end of the day these guys aren't the toughest if they are in a group like this. Speak to your uncle because the only way you will win is to use more force than them. Put one of them in hospital and the rest will get the message.
Don't get involved once you have told your uncle. A group of guys were bullying my mate and one day he got one of them alone and beat the living shit out of him but he got a criminal record, which shows just how shit the justice system is.
