Section 1 : Choosing The Best Keyboard

    What is a keyboard?

"In computing, a keyboard is an input device, partially modeled after the typewriter keyboard, which uses an arrangement of buttons or keys, to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches. A keyboard typically has characters engraved or printed on the keys and each press of a key typically corresponds to a single written symbol. However, to produce some symbols requires pressing and holding several keys simultaneously or in sequence. While most keyboard keys produce letters, numbers or signs (characters), other keys or simultaneous key presses can produce actions or computer commands."

Depending on what your planning to use your keyboard for can mean a lot of different variations. For example there is keyboards made specifically for gaming, standard keyboards for at home daily use it could be very hard to choose.

In this short section I will include some of the top choices I've seen and a sort of oversight with each.

The aspects your looking for in a keyboard mainly falling into this criteria..
    .

    - Ergonomics (Meaning a type of style/creation to benefit a user and not to induce any injuries or danger. For example a car having good airbags and not faulty ones.)

    - Does it fit for your needs? (Meaning if you plan on your keyboard for a huge gaming aspect you should steer towards keyboards with programmable hot keys, hot keys to reach e-mail, music, and some keyboards even have LCD to display their stats such as the game "World Of War Craft".

    - Ease of use/function-ability (Meaning a keyboard that has smooth typing keys, easy to install and or use, and overall a efficient keyboard. You do not want to purchase a keyboard that will break down in a few months or it gets less functionable after a short period of time.)

    My personal recommendations

Section 2 : Choosing The Best Mouse

    What is a mouse?

"In computing, a mouse is a pointing device that functions by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface. Physically, a mouse consists of an object held under one of the user's hands, with one or more buttons. (Although traditionally a button is typically round or square, modern mice have spring-loaded regions of their top surface that operate switches when pressed down lightly.) It sometimes features other elements, such as "wheels", which allow the user to perform various system-dependent operations, or extra buttons or features that can add more control or dimensional input. The mouse's motion typically translates into the motion of a cursor on a display, which allows for fine control of a graphical user interface."

Now a mouse is much different than that of what your looking for in a keyboard. A lot more factors are associated with buying mouses some of them being DPI(Dots Per Inch) which basically means the precision that the mouse pointer goes somewhere(VERY USEFUL FOR GRAPHIC DESIGNERS). Another factor is polling which is like response time in a monitor except the higher the better.

In this short section I will include some of the top choices I've seen and a sort of oversight with each.

The aspects your looking for in a mouse mainly falling into this criteria...

    - Ergonomics (Meaning a type of style/creation to benefit a user and not to induce any injuries or danger. For example a car having good airbags and not faulty ones.)

    - Does it fit for your needs? (Most people just need a common mouse any type would work such as a standard 8$ mouse. But for gamers there are MANY options to choose from. Gaming mouses, mouses with programmable keys on the mouse, DPI, Polling, precision, wireless/wired) And a IMPORTANT factor is a way you hold a mouse. There is many ways to hold a mouse such as claw, palm, fingertip. I'll show some pictures of each.

    - Ease of use/function-ability (Meaning a mouse that can move freely and smoothly and be able to connected via wired or wireless with ease. Mouses that require batteries are out-of-date and most mouses nowadays are laser. Speed also has a factor along with comfort-ability and long-term use)

    Closing Notes

Overall it's up too you what you purchase. You may need to search around for more options depending on your budget and everybody has different needs. Different types of positions you have your hands in, and some people may have arthritis and have a hard time using a mouse and a keyboard. I provided my recommendations based on reviews and some hands on experience with some of the products listed. From my experiences Logitech, Razer are some of the top companies out there that produce good computer accessory. I was going to do monitors and routers but I don't have much experience in either so that will come at a later time.
